A few guilds that are an Eve Conglomerate intend to roll on Fairbanks horde to combine players from CN, EU, and NA to control resources 24/7. They are planning on abusing and restricting the AH to have a monopoly on a lot of high impact crafting materials. They plan to do this by colluding with the opposite faction using the neutral AH, they made an addon to track when certain guilds log in for raid then start farming then, and to track any and all postings that will ping them when they are listed. I believe tampering with the economy in such a way is against ToS so I thought I’d bring it to blizzard’s attention. Proof and explanation can be found here:

From what I’ve heard, these cartels were a big problem on private servers too.

Even if they arent nipped pre-launch, I can’t see a coalition like this lasting more than a few weeks. Addons that affect other’s gameplay this significantly are against ToS and anyone found to have been participating in this WILL get a ban.

The reason why these cartels ran rampant on pservers is because the pservers would never ban them. Blizz won’t have any qualms banning people who are ruining the experience and/or gaming the system.
The pserver elitists who are coming into Classic expecting to run things exactly like they did on the pservers are in for a rude awakening.

I mean… They have? Its the ToS. If you are negatively affecting the gameplay of others on the server you’re gonna get a ban. ESPECIALLY if you’re using addons to track other players and figure out what theyre farming and when theyre typically farming it.
This is blatantly against the ToS and if they try going through with it there’s gonna be quite a few people eating a ban hammer.

Dont worry, I am. This isnt a private server, and these devs seem to actually care about the Classic experience. This did NOT happen in classic.
There were ‘Devilsaur Mafias’ that would camp the Devilsaurs and coordinate with the opposite faction to put a lockdown on that resource, but they didnt do anything more than have a physical presence in Un’Goro to farm those. They never went this far, and from what I remember some of those guys still ended up getting banned for cross-faction collusion.

And got ganked alot on the PVP servers. I remember them crying about it when everyone caught on to what they were doing. 
The one on my server was massive, and they had decent gear. There would essentially be 3 ally and 3 horde on the devilsaurs at all times, with backups in the guild just an alert away from heading there.
If alliance showed up to grab some saurs, the horde mafia would attack and occupy them while the alliance would tag devilsaurs/steal skins after it was looted. Vice Versa if Horde showed up. It was actually really well organized and only a fully coordinated raid could really do anything about it. They might have been gold farmers tbh, cause they always had a ton of people on call to just show up and dominate the zone if they needed.

But seriously, why are you asking for daddy Blizzard help? That’s exactly the same thing that ruined the game. You are literally a server vs two or three guilds. Organize the community against them like Herod did with the streamer problem.
Because cross faction collusion is against the TOS?

You are going to get a lot of this kind of stuff in classic. That auction house is going to be a mess, they need to do something to break all addons from working with the auction house.
They actually used to ban people from trying to control the auction house - so no this is not vanilla.
