The only people who complain about borrowed power are the “content” creators who make youtube videos on how it ruined the game because they suck at it now.
We have 2 weeks the first time. Every time after this one will be 1 week only.

Yes, and I’m talking in general. Everyone says that borrowed power is bad. And now that it’s not there, you’re all demanding to have it back because things are too hard for what you requested

This is the key feature. The reward isn’t worth the effort to me, so I’m not really worried about it.
I enjoyed the original mage tower. The only unique and interesting thing this one offers is a mount for 7 different completions? A single mount for 7 different challenges. This feels like the Torghast Twisting Cooridors level of reward design.
Recolors of a remake of existing sets aren’t really an interesting carrot for me. Like I said, they’re giving Trial of Style rewards for a difficult game mode. Maybe if it came with a consolation prize for attempts or something that could eventually snag the recolor.
Game’s gotta have more give and less take. They want my time, they need to earn it.

No is not lol, It is as hard as it should be. Watch guide, practice, get consumables, get better at it. Don’t be afraid if you have 60 wipes.

Legion Legendaries have had their effects disabled for a long time now, so I would assume they don’t work

I tried to do it on my 50 warrior but the boss just disappears when I enter is this a bug or meant to be
I’m seeing folks in-game and on the forums with the mogs already so obviously this whole “Literaly impossible” thing is a meme.
WoW players just have massive entitlement. It actually cracks me up. People get mad about store mounts that anyone can buy, but also get mad when something is too hard for them. And granted, those are often different people, but often enough some of the same people - WoW players are just way more deluded about their own skill-level than any other community.
Like, let’s take a second here and acknowledge that Blizzard had to remove Proving Ground Silver as a requirement for dungeons. Silver. The baby-ez-pz challenge because some folks were so bad they couldn’t even pass it - while making all sorts of excuses about how “the tuning was wrong” (even though any spec could easily beat PG Silver at the time).
TL;DR: Mage Tower is already being beaten. Bad players are just bad.

yeeeeeea. Except my 248 iLvL bear is getting globalled by the adds in p1, with CD’s up. I’m sorry, but there is just no fun to be had grinding that.

You can still beat an overtuned challenge encounter.
Personally think mage tower was a mistake in that regard. These encounters are not designed for current classes at all.
I’ll probably beat it regardless, just an easy observation to make.

It’s a bit overtuned in the same way the sun is a bit hot.
