what do you think a fair price would be? Zero interest in getting killed over and over as a tank trying to do dailies. I think this could be a goldmine early.
For instance rep farming? Interesting idea. I wonder if there will be any Horde Paladins around.

What do you think is a fair price for healers to charge tanks for healing them? Should I charge tanks more if they are undergeared and need lots of healing?

Depends on the demand, depends on the class and heroic you’re running.
I wouldn’t even pay for a prot warrior in Heroic Shattered Halls - I’d rather stick nails into my eyelids

This was a thing on Pservers. It was usually 20g for a heroic. Luckily once T5 hits tanks aren’t needed anymore for heroics and people tell you to get bent.
The only exception is SHH for rep.

Depends on a lot of things, what class are you, is the healer any good, what dungeon is it and is it heroic, and what kinda DPS do you have?
It’s a whole mountain of questions that could influence the enjoyment.
I made a fair bit of gold tanking Heroic Halls of Reflection in wrath. Good times

Probably zero. I don’t think there’s going to be a shortage of tanks in TBC like there are in classic. Prot Paladins are going to be everywhere.

Yeah, and if a bunch of randos want me to tank or heal a heroic they’ve been spamming for, and it has nothing I need out of it… I want some sort of reward for it or I’m just not going to bother

You want to stock up as many BoJ as possible for sunwell. The amount of gem slots in gear + the relative scarcity of dropped/mined epic gems makes them worth more in the long run than suffering through most pugs.

How long do you think it takes for tanks to get everything they need from BOJ rewards and have a stockpile of it? I’ll tell you, a matter of weeks.
You can’t reliably farm heroics for gems either and once Hyjal comes out it’s moot.
1.You don’t want the epic gems that drop out of heroics, they’re trash for the most part.
2. You’re severely over-estimating the amount of gems that drop + the fact that all 25 raiders need them.
3. Alot of the gems are pure trash, Nobody wants the green gems, Yellow gems have limited value at tier 6 thanks to hit being common and blue gems may or may not be valued.
