Failing Horrific vision

So i was doing my Third vision and i had to go afk and died.
I miss out on legendary cloak upgrade or is there a catch up and how does it work?

I believe you can accumulate enough for a 4th by doing the rares and treasures. But no, there is no catch up that we are aware of. If someone simply succeeds more times than you do in the same number of attempts they will always be ahead.

In order to reach Rank 6, you’ll need to do 6 Horrific Vision runs during the first week.

You'll get 3 Free runs for completing the Intro questline.
You'll get 1 run for completing the Major Assault.
You'll get 1 run for completing both Minor Assaults
You'll get 1 run for completing your Lesser Vision every day.
No Rare or Chest Farming needed!

If for whatever reason, you fail a run due to a death or sanity, it’s no big deal anymore! You can just try again and any quests you don’t complete this week will roll over until next week. This removes the feeling of “If I die or fail the objective, I’m permanently behind.” So now, you can have fun with the system, explore a bit and if you make a mistake, you just need to do another run this week, or catch up next week!

Starting on Week 2, the Rank 7 quest will be offered. If you failed a couple HV runs last week or are just starting, you’ll need to finish the previous quests before this one will be offered. Now, Cloaks will be capped at Rank 7.

Week 3 will be capped at Rank 8 and so on.

Hope that answers that for you, the change was late - more like an addition so you don’t feel like you are behind permanently.

Method said if you fail your just behind until you eventually max it out a long time in the future.

There was a last moment addition in the past few days I think that changed that so to speak, I mention it in my post.

I feel your pain op, I DC’d on my first one and when I logged back in I’d been kicked out. Fortunately for mean I’m super casual now and dont do a whole lot of content anymore but for those who do higher content my condolences. Tho from the post higher up it looks like you arent totally screwed.

They changed it so if you fail you wont get screwed anymore. Good change IMO

if you do not do your weekly cap, you can catch up as the legendary cloak upgrade “cap” is increased each week by 1.

so this week is 6, if you fail, you can grind enough tokens of grinding to go in again and get to the cap of 6, or you can wait til next week when the cap is increased to 7 and just catch up naturally, they just recently announced this so it wasnt common knowledge or anything

Read what I wrote, and ask yourself if you did the early list of things. You can’t just go back in, you need the ‘‘currency’’ from the daily, various events in the areas etc


Doing it on patch day is asking for all sorts of issues lol.

Hi. I just don’t get the first 3 runs you get from the questline. As far as I know, I only have 1 free run. It was the first which I messed up(i died). The other vision runs already requires coalescent. So where is the other free 2? lol

I’d like a practice area that gives no rewards or anything. I thought there was more to it than AE blast everything but apparently that’s the way.

You definitely cannot just run in and AE blast everything.
Stuff will kill you in there.
The time mechanic also ensures if you try to do it as a tank that you get punished for taking too long.

Well I fell through the floor after being feared, lost the run and my Vision for no fault of my own. Now I’m behind unless I grind rates and chest to catch up. Trash system

Lol you can only do 6 per week?
24 a month?
$15 for 24 greater rifts.

Are we even playing a game at this point, or are we just following blizzards script they release one week at a time?

I failed doing prot spec but I was able to do it in ret spec. I was a little better at dodging mechanics this time though.

I find greater success with prot. Of course, I usually run Vision of Perfection along with seraphim, so the damage I deal is nonsensical

That makes no sense I failed my first one because I went out killing adds and running out of time on thrall. And a second time because we went to try a bonus objective and my friend died there.

Im on rank 2 still with quest for 3. Does that mean I get the quest for 4, 5, 6 and 7 starting next week?
