The NPC Farhad in Ravenholdt did not give the quest Into the Hold of Shadows for the Rogue dagger, any suggestions. I have tried logging reloading all I have seen on another forum where another Rogue had the same issue.
Have you actually done the quest to get friendly with Ravenholdt? I know not doing that stopped some of the rune acquisition, so it wouldn’t shock me if it stopped being able to get that dagger as well.
Yes I am friendly no quest did all the ones leading up to it. So sad that this is bugged

Sucky. I was eyeing up trying to get a group to do that today too lol. I’d just open up a GM ticket and see if they can do anything.

Im getting the same problem. no idea. tried relog/reload/swapping toons and back. very frustrating
Confirmed with other rogues who are neutral it works for them too, so not a rep locked thing it seems.
I was sent this by a friend from a rogue discord. I’m not the original author and not sure who is.
I did it on my rogue and was able to get the next quest “Into the Hold of Shadows”
"For my fellow rogues having trouble getting the follow up quest from Fahrad in Ravenholdt Manor after completing “The Enemy of My Enemy” for the Dream Eater quest chain.
You need to complete some class quests before being eligible for the follow up “Into the Hold of Shadows”.
First you need to get the Elegant Letter that start the quest: The Manor, Ravenholdt. I think you have to complete the letter from “C” stuff to be able to get this letter, but not sure.
As a horde I got the Elegant Letter letter from the rogue trainer in UC, click him and select the option “Give me that” or something, it should be obvious. I think as alliance you can get it from rogue trainer as well.
Then Travel to Ravenholdt Manor and click the chest in the cave prior to entering the manor to complete the Rite of Cunning as the quest request.
Then talk to Fahrad to complete the quest. Enter a city after completion and you will get a letter from Fahrad that he needs to talk to you agian.
Travel back to Ravenholdt Manor, talk to him, and then you will be completing the quest “Fool Me Twice” and get a new quest, “The Talisman of Kazdor”.
This is the quest chain for the Honor Among Thieves Rune and you will need to complete this before you can move on with the Dream Eater quest chain.
After you have completed the rune quest chain, Fahrad will give you “Into the Hold of Shadows” and you will get your Dream Eater.
Keep in mind that I may have forgotten some small details here.
TLDR: You must have completed the Honor Among Thieves Rune to be eligible for “Into the Hold of Shadows”."

Confirmed you need to complete the honor among thieves rune quest line. Even if you bought the rune from the vendor you can still complete it
