You fell for that? There were dozens of posts on the forum stating that was a bad idea. Que times lasted like two weeks. And all of your friends stayed, but you didn’t?
This sounds like a self made problem.
Not completely his fault.
The company too is pushing against the idea of the mega server and encouraging and possibly even forcefully moving (subjective) players to dead servers, or low pop servers that could be considered dead.
What new content, exactly?
Heroic+? No, that’s not new content. That’s just recycled Mythic+ content.
They seem to be more active with regulating the free transfer realms in Wrath, like Sulfurus and Eranikus…
And if anyone from dead faction servers like Benediction, Faerlina, Whitemane care about faction balance, they have free transfers to better balanced realms right now. Sure the choices at the moment aren’t as good as Sulfurus and Eranikus, because they filled up.
I remember watching the Alliance exodus from Faerlina to Bene… I don’t think most people on dead faction servers want faction balance.
I hope that isn’t true. Why join a PvP server at that point when they can join a PvE one?
Many folks followed their favorite streamers - started on Faerlina, then streamers transferred to Benediction, so many others followed suit.
- You’re posting with a DK on benediction.
- Don’t transfer off a realm if you want to later transfer back to it.
In all honesty…
They probably don’t know how to undo it when they hire community college dropouts to manage servers.
I have no sympathy for anyone that transferred. You’ve seen blizzards track record. You were ALL warned this would happen. Enjoy your dead servers. Blizzard is a dog$sh!t company.

The hivemind of sheeple is often a bad thing. Sad that people do that. I don’t understand why they would do that. Are they looking for their 15 minutes of fame (OMG! I might appear on his stream!)? Perhaps they are looking for a carry through content?
I joined a Spanish heavy server when I wanted to start learning Spanish. A lot of fun and met some really good people.
For you, Almost like “fun” is different from person to person and retail is a hot garbage.
I have 3 accounts unsubbed until they unlock servers. If they wait to long though most of us won’t come back it will be to late.

Can confirm. Irl friends from faerlina rerolled to Eranikus so i went with them. Luckily I just boosted with my wotlk boost and left my other character on farelina incase I wanted it.
