I’m lost here, the mobs at the indicated location don’t drop what’s required, has amyone done this quest ???
Im literally on the same quest and Im also having the same problem. Can you click on the scrapper to get the quest? Ive put in a ticket for it so I should get a fix for it here soon. Also I believe you had a group that killed me a few moments ago.
I did get it to work, I clicked on the coil spring thing in my inventory

Lol yea you have to combine the parts. Also if you already had the req parts in your inventory the parts will not drop.a
have been on this quest for so long Rares have respawned like 4 times. All thsi for 2 more springs… dropped quest, dropped all the part… only to get stuck at the same 20 springs again…
I’ve had the same issue, but found the problem. Apparently you can start looting those pieces before you even get the quest, so I had some parts that I had put in my bank a few days before. Pieces won’t drop if you already have enough to craft the item.

Scarlatto you are a wonderful person for posting this, thanks friend… looked in my bank… the 2 springs needed.
Side not… Shame on whoever came up with being able to save the items. I wasted over 2 hours trying to do this…

I am able to collect the parts. I don’t have any in my bank. I am able to click on any of the three items that are used to form the Bundle of Recycled Parts. However, I never receive credit for step 1 of the quest (“0/1 Collect scraps to create Bundle of Recycled Parts”). I’ve re-logged. I’ve made sure I didn’t have any of the parts in my inventory (or bank). I’ve abandoned the quest (and lost a Bundle!) and re-acquired it. All of this without result. What’s up? On this same night, I also had the quest “More Recycling” (I think it was called) and was able to successfully complete that one, which required only an item that came from the reward for turning in the parts at the junkwatt.
So–I am a little behind but I hope this helps someone What you need is 30 Hardened Springs, 5 Machined Gear Assemblies and 10 Tempered Plating. The thing is, I have been collecting these things before I got the quest from assorted kills and most were in my bags. I saw earlier posts, checked if I had any springs, gears or assemblies and it turned out I had most of them. Check because it is not obvious what they are for. Lucky I am a horder. :)
