I am currently doing the Mechagon quest called Factory Refurbished and I am at the Junkwatt Depot killing the corroded mobs, but they arent dropping any of the items needed to do the quest. Is this quest bugged or am I just simply doing it wrong?

What items are you looking for? Are you looking for Bundle of Recyclalbe Parts? Because that item isn’t dropped, it is made from combining other parts dropped by the mobs at Junwatt.
Do you know where I have to combine them at?
You can combine them directly from your inventory. Look through your bags for the following items. Mousing over it and reading the tooltip will tell you how many of each you need. When you have enough, simply right click one of them to combine.
- Hardened Spring x 30
- Tempered Plating x10
- Machined Gear Assembly x5

Bugged for me as well. I combine them, hand in, get the quest item. The quest giver does not register as you collecting the scraps to create the bundle (even though you have the Manifold).

Same here. Still looking for a solution.
I am able to collect the parts. I don’t have any in my bank. I am able to click on any of the three items that are used to form the Bundle of Recycled Parts. However, I never receive credit for step 1 of the quest (“0/1 Collect scraps to create Bundle of Recycled Parts”). I’ve re-logged. I’ve made sure I didn’t have any of the parts in my inventory (or bank). I’ve abandoned the quest (and lost a Bundle!) and re-acquired it. All of this without result. What’s up? On this same night, I also had the quest “More Recycling” (I think it was called) and was able to successfully complete that one, which required only an item that came from the reward for turning in the parts at the junkwatt. Really quite aggravating.

when you have collected these items, click on the Hardened Spring stack in your inventory. It will turn into the item you need to complete the quest.
It’s fun that y’all think we don’t know how to click on a quest item to combine things.
It should be fairly clear that this isn’t the problem, at least for some of us.
At least for me, I specifically said “I am able to click on any of the three items that are used to form the Bundle of Recycled Parts”. The problem is that stage 1 of the quest – “collect the parts” – is not being marked as completed, even when you have enough parts to finish off stage 2 of the quest – clicking to combine.
Tried abandoning the question, tried getting rid of all the items for the quest, no luck with getting credit on the parts-gathering.

The issue could be that some of the parts are in your bank… it will not let you complete the quest unless all the parts are in your bags. Take a trip to the bank!
I don’t get any of the needed items from the area marked on the map (from the mobs) - no springs, nothing to combine. Bugged quest that’s wasted 45 minutes of time… awesome…
They really did a great job on this garbage quest. State of the art quest design on this one… what a joke

Don’t feel bad. I was killing them for 20 minutes. Then I did a bit of research. Though I did not have the quest before, the items still dropped. So they were way back in my backpack.
Yeah, bank counts too.
You get all 3 REALLY FAST, that is to say if you don’t have ANY dropping it is because you already have them. You will get at least one of the three from any of the anodized or corroded (think they are corroded when it is raining?)
I know because once I figured out that I HAD the 3, making the deal to turn in to the receptacle, I did it again thinking I had to do it again (not realizing I just had to make/turn in the other thing.)
Have to make sure you don’t have any of the parts in your bank or no more parts will drop for you.
Use all of the bundles of recycled parts in your bags and then make another and you will get credit.
check your bank I was 3 of each and it wasn’t dropping it every time I killed a mob. I did it for about 20 minutes until I checked my bank to see the 3 of each was missing. I must have gotten the stuff prior but kept it in my bank cause my bags were cluttered with junk,
Same here, that is exactly what happens to me and I’m so frustrated because this questline gives a mount and I’m the only one out of all my friends stuck on this quest and I’m behind
The parts are grindable if you are operating a lone toon. and there are lots of explanations above some good and as usual on here some that talk a lot and don’t say anything.
I can’t find any information on how to get the Recycled Crawler Manifold so if any one could halp on that it would be much appreciated.
You automatically get it when you turn in the bundle of recycled parts to the machine. It’s not an item that shows up in your bags, it’s just quest item credit.
