Players choosing in which faction to play is beyond anyone to control. And by itself, it shouldn’t necessarily bring about the issues Classic WoW is facing.
The big problem with Classic WoW is how many people are allowed to play on one server. If the servers were smaller, say, capped at 2k (in total, not per faction) world PvP would flow so much better, there would actually be a struggle to mantain certain spots under control, resources would be much more available to everyone.
It feels as if the current pop cap deliberately breaks the boundries in which the game is supposed to function.
IMHO this is the real “unbalance”, not in which faction do the players decide to roll.
And to be fair, this raises one question: if Blizz stated back in the day that Classic Wow’s Medium pop realms were already beyond the largest vanilla realms… how did they not see this would be a problem?
Whats the current server pop? They never said anything about that lol except they’re going to mimic how it was in vanilla (something along those lines)
I have multiple accounts and accounts on both sides where I can sit there and do /who to take census estimates. On some of the bigger servers, they have more than that old cap on one single faction online at once.
