Either both factions need to have access to Shaman and Paladins or the balance between them needs to be at least somewhat similar.
People are quitting or rerolling Horde at a rapid rate. My guild started P2 with 8 paladins and we are down to 2, plus 1 who we have to force to play. Several people are “leveling shaman alts” on Horde. No one wants to log in to PvP so even though the server pop is 50/50 the PvP balance is like 70/30.
Everyone rolled alliance because of paladins.
Now they won’t.
Don’t see an issue.
Phase 2 shaman was planned all along to get the factions pop more balanced.
Honestly. That could have been the plan all along. Ph1 was miserable as a horde player. Ph2 is great.
Feels good having abilities to use other then start attack in my shock macros.

I’d love to see Undead Paladins and Dwarf Shamans, this is SoD.
Shamans are clearly overtuned I have 4 toons and recently leveled a Shaman and obliterate people with Gnomer gear in my Fresh 40 gear without breaking a sweat.
These threads are so funny. When SoD launched, everyone was saying shaman are a joke. They’re useless. Druids will provide their best buff. Horde is screwed.
Watching fotm players spin around in circles is always funny.

Vanilla was never balanced.
Considering that paladin was the best class in the game in the first few weeks of sod while shamans were by far the worst lead to all the FOTM losers to pick alliance and now that the FOTM is horde locked the crying has gotten really loud.
good news pallies are far from the worst in pvp and the second best tanks in the game currently.
Weaklings. Paladin is as fun as ever.
Shamans are a bit oppressive though, admittedly.

How can everything you say is wrong and dumb. I remember you crying on every thread about shamans in p1.
My only wish is that you could only have 1 or 2 characters or something like that so everytime there was a new FotM Class they would have to delete a toon to reroll and relevel… what’s that? the FOTM spinner came back and landed on your original class? too bad you deleted it, now you have to level all over again… cue evil laughter…
