The Alliance, once the normie, can do no evil, lawful good with cherry on top faction is suddenly changing a whole lot. Now it has lightforged beings fighting side by side with void beings, cyborgs, werewolves and even a racial leader that underwent a forbidsen ritual that azshara herself found herself in a position to criticize. Horde sure dont look like the misfits anymore, and that line has been severely blurred and thats sorta OK.
However, knowing Blizzard, this isnt just by chance and isnt just so the factions were not so black and white… there’s a purpose, and I believe that throughout 9.0 and even 10.0, there will be some severe alliance infighting. They are living the calm before the storm right now, and I believe 10.0 will be all about the tiranny of light featuring calia menethil as Yrel 2.0

Lightforged undead. I still can’t get over how stupid that is. The Light literally begets life. Titans begin their existence as sparks of light around which a planet coalesces. The Light heals wounds, cures diseases, cleanses toxins and dark magic. THE HOLY LIGHT RESURRECTS THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE! Turalyon isn’t undead. The light bulbs Draenei aren’t undead. Why would the Light just pour itself into a corpse instead of doing what it’s always done? Correctly reuniting a soul with its body! Undeath is an incorrect unification which is why the experience is so empty and bleak for those who are enduring it. This is garbage. GARBAGE
