Has anyone seen any blue post or any development proof on a time frame Blizzard’s plans to continue to merge the 2 factions in what they can do? The can do Mythics, Raids, trade gold, and join guilds now. Im tempted to faction change but want to continue playing with my friends. Curious to know if qued dungeons, questing, world quest and old raids is on the table at any point
they never said they were going to merge factions…
In fact, my read on the initial post was that they specifically weren’t going to do that

Going forward you can always run dungeons with alliance as hordie, but I don’t really think Blizzard is actually going to completely cut out the faction divide. I personally wouldn’t mind cause I have grown tired of Horde vs Alliance, myself. For Azeroth!
You can’t fully play with friends yet. One day the game might be more inclusive.

they arent merging
they can just queue together.
They’ve never said anything about completely merging the factions. Mainly because it’s mechanically impossible to add or remove any factions to a game that was built on only ever having two. Making guilds cross-faction (with limits) was probably the end of it when it comes to bringing the playerbase together.
The very least they could do is allow cross faction open world content, they already have shared tagging and shared loot, just allow it to work in cross faction groups in the open world.

It’s unlikely. The faction system that the game is built upon isn’t going away.
