Faction locked iskaara - still!

I’ve tried to report this issue in several places over the last several days - Bug Report - Lightbringer - Technical Support - and NOTHING!!

I have unlocked the other 3 factions. For some reason I appear to have ‘opened’ the Iskaara area, but have NOT unlocked the faction!! How can this be?? My Campaign line told me to do “Supplies” - which I did - ‘reward’ was Iskaara rep, but I got NOTHING!!

Next quest for Campaign is “Gnoll Way Out” - ‘reward’ again is Iskaara rep! But that is worthless to me until faction is ‘unlocked’! HOW can I be directed to quests which are USELESS for this rep??

PLEASE HELP!! Even if you set me ‘back’ some quests… just somehow that I can unlock the faction and continue progressing on the Campaign!!

IIRC the rep you “earned” before you unlock the faction is applied retroactively.

You unlock the Iskaara renown when you get to the actual village on the water in the main campaign.

Its just later in the campaign then the rest of the factions for their respective areas.

The acquired rep prior still counts towards your renown.

Edit: You unlock the Renown on the quest: To Iskaara, which is about 2/3rds the way through the main campaign in Azure span.

You are getting rep because that is the main faction in the Azure Span. Once you actually get to Iskaara shortly after where you are, then you can utilize the renown vendor.

You can track your rep gains via the minimap button.

Thank you Vorselia - and thank you all for the encouragement to do quests which awarded rep I didn’t see because I was faction-locked!

I looked at my mini-map button and what I saw was “Faction Locked” - and it IS confusing! But it does appear that even though you ‘seem’ to be receiving NO rep, that rep is ‘hiding’!

I followed the recommendations here to DO those Iskaara-rep quests. And yes, I had been LOOKING for Breanna at the side of the road to open the faction with the quest “To Iskaara”. I could NOT understand WHY I was doing Iskaara-faction rep quests, if I hadn’t opened the faction!! And Breanna was nowhere to be found!!

This is ‘counter-intuitive’ pathing from blizz… and something I can only hope they NEVER do again…

For the record… yes I did the Campaign quests in sequence, as ‘directed’ (and showing NO rep), but then finally I came to Breanna and the “To Iskaara” quest! And when I DID open the faction, I was almost level 3!

This really was making me ‘crazy’!!!
