Personally I think they are missing a huge opportunity not introducing Draenei and Blood Elves.
We don’t need any of that TBC Dark Portal shenanigans, just bring those 2 races and starting zones/Capital Cities. It blends basically into Classic and isn’t hard, but most importantly it gives Alliance and Horde access to Shamans and Paladins.
Adds insane replay value for those wanting to play those classes on either faction, brings back new and old players who prefer those races. Seriously there is no down side at all.

Either would be great, I suggested Draenei and Blood Elves more so to bring fresh races for players but Dwarf Shamans and Tauren Paladins be just as great.
I personally think it be great to see both factions have access to all classes in one way or another be interesting to see how the meta changes and team composition adjust.
It’s SoD, best time to try things out.

The mega ginormous issue with belves and draenei is that literally no one will want to play alliance. This isnt hyperbole. Just look at past history of TBC private servers. Server admins have to mega try hard to force faction balance through hard rrstrictions as well as giving alliance free mounts etc, and even then, no one wants to play ally. Horde and especially blood evles are that popular. Would be even worse in a vanilla setting cause horde racials are more OP than in TBC

Draenei racial giving melee/spell hit isn’t underwhelming either.
But like I mentioned id be happy for other Races to get Shamans and Paladins aswell.
I brought up Races as it will definitely bring new and old players back to SoD for a race they prefer/like rather then the standard 8, bring some more life into SoD.
But I’m happy with either decision if it even would ever happen

I would just make dwarf shamans and tuaren paladins. But to your point turtle wow does this flawlessly, but highelvs stay alliance and horde get goblins.

Biggest mistake blizzard ever made was blood elves to the horde, ironically they did it bc the horde was so underpopulated back in those early days

Alliance has always been more popular by total faction numbers across the servers. It wasn’t an issue until the servers were collapsed into one.
What is this yapping from horde garbage when they have better faction class and the better racials?
Shamans aren’t glass cannons whereas paladins are. To mention the racial imbalance would just further widen the gap between how good Stoneform is VS WoTF/Hardiness.
All horde does is just whining whilst not being able on l2p.
