Sorry for the ping here, but I honestly wasn’t sure how else to contact you!

Not sure if you know this but i hope if anyone does, maybe you do.

So I’m world rank 2 of quests completed on a single character. I started out as Horde, did nearly all the faction specific quests that I could, then transferred to alliance to do the same.

Now when you faction change some quests get marked as incomplete since they get undone. Fair enough. I lost like 2.5k quests in the process. Obviously I just needed to redo the equivalent alliance quests to regain those.

My question is if I faction change back to horde to pick up the misc horde quests that have been released since, will I lose all the quests that’s I’ve completed versions for or will it auto-complete since I had already done it prior?

Hope that made sense, it’s kinda convoluted.

Basically I want to know if faction changing to horde then back to alliance afterwards will again lose me about 2.5k quests that I will need to redo again.

the quick answer is that you will regain MOST quests you had previously done on alliance, however there is a few exceptions such as the last 40 quests of twilight highlandns, most of the return to lorederon questchain, and couple other random ones here and there, expect to probably redo about 100 on alliance,
