Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I don’t believe faction change was made available for Classic so I’m not necessarily holding my breath that it’ll be a thing for Anniversary. Not personally opposed to it though I would assume there’d have to be some restrictions on it to prevent the Anniversary servers from becoming too lop-sided in favor of one faction over the other. Time will tell.
yea thats correct. i would hope they add it only thing that would not make them add it is the faction balance. but well see.
On one hand, if I could swap to nightelf I would.
On the other hand, WSG has made me hate alliance players. (and also horde players)
But I play on nightslayer so even if they added faction change, I’d have to delete all my alts to do it.
we had only name-changes in TBC, as shown in this ancient scroll from that time.

Yeah, faction/races changes didn’t become available until September and October 2009 respectively which would have been during WotLK. I doubt simply making the services available costs Blizzard anything so not sure why they wouldn’t make them available again.
