Faction Change

I’m thinking of purchasing a faction change so i can play an alliance race, but i’m a little concerned based on the FAQ. I think the FAQ may be outdated, so i’m hoping someone here has some recent experience with this.

According to the FAQ, i will be removed from my guild when i faction change. I’m assuming this is a holdover from when alliance and horde couldn’t be in the same guild, or will i still be removed from my guild?

Also, we are doing mythic raiding. Will faction changing cause any problems with the lockout?

Any information will be helpful.

I’m not sure on raiding. You will be removed from your guild but can rejoin afterwards.

I did this recently. I also did it mid week. So I can answer both.

Its not. You will. Why? When you Faction Change you are Treated as a differant character. So you will find yourself unguilded. So you will need an invite back.

No. Your lockout and even Vault Progress stay the same.

I will hold off on the faction change until someone is on that can invite and promote me back to my current guild rank.

Just dont click the Faction Change Icon till someone is around who can do it

as shifty said, dont wait. the faction change isnt instant and it will remain on your select screen indefinitely until you use it
