Faction Change to Exploit Rep

So people are faction changing to reset rep quests in turn allowing them to double grind rep for quests they have already done. CAN YOU FIX THIS BLIZZ? I say you rewind time and take away their achievs and rep or is this a money making type of thing?

I mean, if they want to waste that much money to get flying a couple days early, more power to them

No way in heck I’m doing that though.

Is it really that big of a problem? I didn’t even know it was a thing, but I’m only 2500 Mechagon and 1200 Naz rep away from flying
3 days more maybe?

Is it really that big of a deal if people want to waste their money?

Yes it is. The more they allow this type of thing the more the game becomes pay to win.

it’s pay ridiculous amounts of money to get flying. Even if you spent gold on the tokens you couldn’t make it back with the flight benefit before everyone else gets flight.

I thought they had a time limit of a few days between transfers. Did they remove that?

the amount of money you’d need to get flying a few days early is ridiculous and I believe there’s a cooldown so you can’t do this every day.

The most pay to win is my buddy who buys hundreds of wow tokens because his parents are millionaires and cashes them for in game gold then buys boe epics. That’s pay to win if anything.

Faction transferring breaks a lot of things so joke’s on them if they lost 20 mounts and six achievements to get flying two days faster.

Blizzard wont do anything because they’re making money off these people

If it was an exploit that circumvented a service blizzard sells it’ll get nerfed but if its an exploit that yields profit from services its left alone

Three days if you don’t log in for 2 of them.

Huh
other epeen swinging what could this gain them? A step up on a season that will come late enough to make this a waste of time?

Seriously someone explain to me what this gets you other flying early enough that you get to swing your epeen over the whole zone first?

Hrm
maybe a brief advantage in AH sales of crafted items?

A few days earlier for flying is hardly pay to win. And there is a 3 days waiting period it xfer back.

If anything it is creative use of game mechanics.

In a week or 2 no one will care.

The game became Pay to Win in the eyes of many a long time ago. Its just rep my friend. People can already buy gear, M+ and Raid Clears, and boosting. Just keep grinding, who cares if they spend their hard earned money to get flying a tad bit sooner than you.

Faction changing is exploiting reputation now?

Given that people are trying to sell those contracts for 30k they might think they will make their gold back if they are scribes. I have been watching the person on my server and they don’t appear to have sold any at that price and I am glad to see people aren’t that stupid.

We managed to play this game for almost a year without flying, surely people can wait a few more days to get it.

Paying $30 every 3 days just to have flying a tad bit sooner than others does not seem like the most efficient way to spend funds. Not to mention all the wacky things that could happen by faction changing so often.

Certainly wouldn’t say it’s P2W, because you don’t really need flying to ‘win’. I’ll say people doing this are silly, but hey, their money I suppose.

If people are faction changing like this, it really is just an indication of how much disposable income people really have these days.

I don’t understand how anything is pay to win when the gear is mostly trivial. If you play PvE then it literally impacts nothing if someone else was dumb and spent real money on gear.

People already HAVE flying, they just probably ruined the rest of the patch for themselves on burnout. And they did it legit, there is a blue post in the other thread that confirms this.

I never cease to be amazed at the stuff people get outraged over.

First of all, I’ve never heard of anyone doing this. Second of all, at the cost of faction transferring back and forth that’s an incredibly inefficient and expensive way of going about it. Thirdly, why do you even care and how does it personally affect YOU?

Good grief, calling it an exploit is the most ridiculous thing I’ve every heard of considering 99.9% of the WoW community is not going to throw around r/l money just to get flying a few days earlier than everyone else. Calling it “pay to win” is even worse. What exactly are they winning?!

For those that do? More power to 'em if they want to throw away perfectly good cash on something so trivial.
