Please put faction change in on launch.
If your goal is to “let people Play with their friends” then let them do it on day one, not in a few months when they have guild commitments.
This is extremely simple and it would be a major oversight to only allow transfers once Wrath players are set in guilds and schedules that may prevent them from transferring.
Honestly their current plan of implementing this post-launch could stymy the worries that people will mass migrate from horde to alliance.
I doubt it but we’ll see. People will probably just leave their guilds when it launches and switch to human. Poor horde guilds.
It will balance out because only 10% of the game actually cares about PvP. Alliance PvErs will swap to Horde.
With the raid lockout change also means that being Horde for PvP isn’t that bad until ICC trinkets.

buts its 10% who might care about arena from that group. I never really saw the appeal to arena tbh.

I think the clowns in the classic office just couldn’t figure out a way to word it so they could introduce another RMT into the game. Now they have “social interaction” they have the ability to sell whatever they want they just have to make a sentence that it fits in and the blizzard simps will buy it.
How about remove it… this is just a cash grab that makes server populations 100% unpredictable.
And you know this how? Do you work in game development?
I love people who just automatically assume its all about money money money that Blizzard wants with the faction change.
Have you ever thought that maybe people actually want faction changes? I for one am one of them, and have run into as many people who want them as well. You’d be surprised how balanced it is between people who want them and people who complain its just a cash grab
Because if it wasnt about money they would let people do it for free and put it on like a 1 year CD.

I see the old style of full raid lockouts as horde then faction change ally to do it again same day. Hopefully that gets nipped first.
People are going to complain it’s a cash grab no matter what. They simply don’t understand that a company does need to make money to keep operating.

Hey sometimes you have to pay for luxuries. Its obviously not needed in this game but desired.

Look dude, It might as well be but this will have big repercussions for the servers that aren’t already one sided factions.
I wish they would just make it not available in those servers, people will mass faction change to the dominant faction and end up killing the last good servers out there
I hate to say it but honestly the way to counter the “meta chasers” is to do what retail did in legion. Make rank one and glad top 0.1% and top 0.5% of each faction. I remember one season in legion the difference was near 200 points for r1 alliance vs r1 horde.
I understand the worry and your validated in that sense, but I mean hasn’t that already been happening anyway? Instead of moving your full character to the other faction, most have already just moved to the server and made a new character anyway.
That or they just ended up quitting because their server was dying anyway. So it would be nice to give them the option to faction change and still enjoy the game.

they had this locked to rated in retail forever really. the pug one offers no reason to run it really. you can get more points in a wg loss as defence where offence steam rolled the door in 4 minutes or less.
we got in it solo queue added in SL to be better. most break down to LOS strats around columns. Classic won’t see some MOP, legion and zandalari maps that break this up a bit.
watched AWC…its watching people dance around columns. and 90% of them the same comp too.
I am more an epic fan. you get fun moments like wondering how many times you will kill the other sides frag dude till they get a clue and pull back people to defend him.

People who believe Race Changes is only being added because of money are trolling.
We literally spammed the forums asking for it, it is a necessary service, nobody wants to abandon their 2 year old character full of achievements, mounts, unobtainable items/titles.
