Faction Change - Allied Race Requirements

If I have the achievement requirements done for Kul Tiran on my Shaman, and use faction change to Horde. Do my requirements automatically switch to the Horde version?

Meaning can I unlock Zandalari right away? Asking for a friend <3

No, you still need to unlock the allied race you want to change into.

When you say unlock, meaning I have to do the achievements all over again? Doesn’t the faction change switch over achievements to the other faction?

I’m not meaning doing the intro quest for the allied race, just having the pre-requisites done.

I believe you need to do the unlock quest. chain at least, not sure if the alliance war campaigne/hordes us separate account wide achrivements.

I’m fairly certain they do not transfer. OP will likely have to do the War Campaign over again on the Horde side.

OP, faction changes are pretty much always screwy. Proceed with caution.

Thank you for clearing that up.

You have to do the all the horde quests to unlock it, main stories and war campaign.

Damn I wish I saw this or was patient before I did the faction change. Now I’m stuck staring at the “processing” :’(

Heya I did something like you were proposing. Previously you’d automatically meet the reputation requirements(which are now gone), still had to do the quest and achievement ones.

The Horde War Campaign is nice though so it’ll be nice (only need to do 8.0 and 8.1 till you get Tides of Vengeance but I went all the way through and allied with Sylvanas for the change in NPC dialogue afterwards.

I did the faction change, over and back. I unlocked all the allied races (except the last 2) on the same character – and I completed pathfinder on that character too. Here is what I remember:

There was 1 or 2 main reps, which DID transfer. There were also smaller reps that did NOT transfer. Aren’t there 5 or 6 reps in each faction?
