Faction Based Queues And Transfers

Why are queues and free transfers not faction specific yet. It would go a long way towards solving server imbalance. The current system of free transfers just leads to one dead faction, killing servers over and over again.

I think we also really need to work on increasing the number of underrepresented races in Tanking roles. How many Undead tanks does your raid have?

We need to solve this problem now!

What do you mean by “yet”?
Why do you think they will ever be?

You may be smart, and this may be a good idea. But other smart people may disagree with you.

Also, Blizzard designers (who are smart) may know about issues that you don’t – issues that make your idea unacceptable.

Faction queues in general are a bad idea if implemented after launch.

And faction based transfers don’t work simply cause there are more Horde players that play on PvP realms than Alliance. How exactly would you solve that problem?

What’s the problem with server imbalance? Alliance taking over Org and your group can’t beat them? No? Well balance is useless to you then.

Locking transfers by faction may back fire. Which may not do what you think it will and may hurt the situation more than you think. People don’t want to reroll because they’re attached to their characters and the time invested. So not being able to transfer will probably just make them quit.
Faction queues to play the game? Hell no. That is just bs. A lot aren’t concerned with wpvp at all. Even though they rolled pvp servers.
So people on pvp servers who rolled pvp servers for the pvp should sit in a queue while Johnnycarebear is safe in his nice instanced pve dungeon? Hell no.

“Server imbalance” is a player myth. Players in this forum believe in it. Blizzard does not believe in it.

In 15 highly successful years, Blizzard has never supported “balancing factions on a server”.

You can talk about it all you like, here in the player forum. But it has nothing to do with Blizzard or WoW.

Bad ideas all around. You’re asking for the state to tell you where and how to play. No comrade. Classic doesn’t need this.

You’d think they would have learned these things a long time ago, or in the last 6 months at least. Keeping a realm balanced up front could avoid all the issues later on. But they’d rather ignore a problem until it becomes a disaster and requires 10x more work to fix it.

I wouldn’t call them “highly successful years” they killed of one of the factions in retail.

They tried that in phase 2. Spoiler, it didn’t work.

LOL don’t think anyone is really interested in taking the transfers in the first place maybe lets start with that.

Because you assume that this company cares about server imbalances, which they do not. Server imbalances make people pay for server transfers, which is more money for the company coffers with zero effort on their part. Why would they kill their cash cow?

because they would rather kill servers like incendius not once but twice and get thousands of people to pay not once but twice for transfers at 25$ a pop…that’s why. haven’t you figured it out they dont care :frowning: otherwise the faction transfers for horde would have been stopped b4 we lost all the horde on our server.

no they put them in after the damage WAS ALREADY DONE…like idiots they are they did it too late…oh guess what OOPS I DID IT AGAIN…we just lost all out horde on incendius today.
