Then that’s not the HE society, that’s the silver covenant. They don’t follow the traditional HE society. Using a more extreme example, you don’t call Americans British anymore because we branched off and formed our own society and became our own “race” by definition.
The SC doesn’t follow the HE society to a T or anything. They have their own agenda, culture, rules, etc etc.
But, hear me out. It sounds crazy i know, but what if… Blizzard made a reason? It’s their lore. They rewrite and create it all the time. Look how they added the velves- a small group with no home, no kingdom, and a leader that they accidentally happened upon. They could have done that with HEs.
Oh I get what you’re saying, I do. The problem is the game needs faction identity and if you had the same looking races running around on both factions, you lose faction identity. Pandas were an exception and they didn’t really pan out anyways (one of the lowest played races in the game).
This is why I said that if they really had wanted to do it right, back when they first introduced BEs, they would have done like how they did pandaren. You’d start out neutral, they’d show the events that led into the fall of their society, you’d be given the choice to pick your poison, etc etc. But they didn’t. So the best you’re going to get is grape HEs or BEs.
Because you’re refusing to accept the terms that they do exist. Don’t pretend I am the one in the wrong not citing what is canon when you’re exactly doing just that!
