simple fact is , without the rep grind being required to grind rev- exalted , there would be very few queuing for wsg to the point of the whole premade vs pug thing wouldnt even be a big thing on the forums .
make ashenvale rep go to exalted and watch all the worries melt away.
if they do it now , people can grind it before p2 hits and it will be just in time.
I wanted to let you know that I have noticed this thread, since this could easily be added as a reply to one of the numerous already existing threads on the topic. but since you thought your insight warranted its own thread (it really didn’t though), I felt compelled to let you know that I have noticed this thread.
Without rewards people wouldn’t do much of anything.

I would, the main reason why I don’t is because it’s no-man’s-land for anyone that isn’t in premades lol.
I’m playing retail for my PvP needs, because work has been done to ensure it’s a good experience for casuals.
As a solo player, I can do something.
I’d like to see how many people raid without loot drops.
its only a no mans land cause people refuse to fight against premades and most premades are just trade chat pugs with little to no organization or comp that can be easily beaten.
maybe if the only people queuing up for wsg in the first place were people that actually wanted to do wsg , they would be motivated to actually i dunno… pvp?
Well, it’s also class-stacking the premades do.
Even if they’re crap players that don’t communicate, they still have the class advantage, usually.
Loads of PuGs queue up, and there’s not a single healer or hunter in there, lol.
I don’t touch it with rewards. 20 years and still not exalted.
that wont get solved with pugs vs pugs solo queue or whatever.
random comps are random.
and quite honestly a whole bunch of the trade chat pug premades dont focus on comp either.
ive been in “premades” and ive been in real deal PREMADES.
the “premades” give up after first cap going against them or the initial scrum and do roll over like a dog with nearly any resistance. you can easily beat them with a pug.
the actual real deal PREMADES are the only ones who savor getting resistance from other PREMADES. these are people who have been exalted from very early on and would be the only ones who really benefit from the queue being switched.
make it so only those that want to do wsg do it and things will change ALOT.

heh the whole point is if you made ashenvale rep go to exalted it would dramatically change the face of wsg queues to the point that only people who actually wanted to wsg would do so.

They don’t really need to, as soon as the other team sees a premade they just give up.

people cant drum up any type of effort at all to actually pvp in a pvp bg.
why not make it to where the people queuing to pvp actually want to and will … pvp.

This idea is dumb.
People want to have fun while playing for rewards, which is why a solo queue will be good.
i diddnt say remove the rewards entirely.
i said make ashenvale rep go to exalted so people have a choice.
the solo queue wont do the trick for you either btw.
they wont have role selection and the simple fact is if they do like in retail people will game the queue by selecting a role they dont plan to do to get quicker queues.
random pugs are random in terms of comp and you will be running to the forums to cry about how the other team got 3 healers and you got 10 dps and nothing will have been solved.
