Last thing we need is to make things easier for botters.
Raise wages, improve worker rights and conditions, universal healthcare. Uhhhm, drop tariffs and stop the trade wars.
I mean, having more money and spare time might increase player count⌠Iâm just taking the opportunity to get what I want, donât judge me!

Most online games are now F2P with a Battle Pass nowadays. Having a monthly sub is so 2004. We need the younger generation of gamers to start playing WoW or they will just keep playing Fortnite.
All the cool âkidsâ are playing Marvel Rivals.

F2P is NOT the answer. In any other game thatâs been sub based and gone F2P itâs only been the downfall of that game.
A number of the high profile ones are(all while we ignore the massive flops, apparently). Iâm not sure Iâd go with most since thatâs a hard metric to prove.
However when it comes to MMOs the top 2 in the world right now are both subscription based.
Most of the âyoungerâ generations wonât swap if its F2P or Battle Pass anyhow because itâs not in the same genre as Fortnite.
MMOâs arenât for everyone.
We could have a Xbox gamepass discount or free month promotion but WoW shouldnât go F2P. The amount of bots would skyrocket.

Never noticed how toxic those fortnite players are? WoW doesnât need even more toxic people that it already has.
No because we donât play Fortnite. What are you basing this stuff off of? Random things you saw on the internet Iâm sure. Children play it, children act like children, that isnât being toxic.
I feel like final fantasy does it best⌠offer new players all but the last two expansions free with classic servers pay walled. Gives a lot of content but promotes purchasing at the same time.
FF doesnât have classic servers. If you are talking about FF11, thatâs a completely different game.
FFXIV should open up classic 1.0 servers, just for the lols.

Tbh if wow had an overhaul of the overworld and condensed everything. As in catch up the story, make all the old xpacs accessible via chromie time only.
That would do a big service to the game. In its current state, its overly bloated with xpacs and zones and the main continents are 15 years behind lol.
There are plenty of adults who play it as well. Many of which will spend 10+ hrs a day playing just to keep their edge over any other players , just like some of those in M+.

I do miss ff11 though. Not enough to play it but shipping to make gold was a ratherâŚunique way to earn gold and the community was chatty enough to make it interesting.
Some times people trading for fish, gear, etc while on the boat ride.

There is no classic server. Unless you are talking about the first MMO which is FF11. It still has a sub and is a different game.
FF14 has the best F2P experience where you can play all of the story up to the 2 past expansions. It still has many restrictions such as only being able to use Party and FC chat and unable to use the AH etc.
