EZ Mining Node

Dear Blizzard employee that thinking that EZ Mining nodes are fun and innovative.
I curse you that you will always stub your toes to any furniture in your home, office, parent’s home, in public and anywhere else.

Legos underfoot everywhere! It’s still funny! And I would looove to see one of those convoy of bots how they handle them! Overloading them is just mean too!

The main reason for things like this and the other nodes current/past that have things like pushbacks etc is to combat botting I believe not to be “new and innovating”

Bots have issues with dragonflying still and are not the most efficient, which is why steady flight is locked behind a pathfinder achievement.

Then these types of nodes further combat bots from being able to efficiently farm.

Personally I appreciate it because regardless of it being annoying to me or not… it helps the economy not get tanked by the machines lol

These things might make it more difficult for the script kiddies who play the game but want to automate their gathering, but they don’t put a dent in actual bot armies engaged in RMT.

I was just thinking about this today. The EZ-Mining nodes are like if someone asked players, “What is the most annoying thing that can happen to you while gathering?”
Then, when 99% of players said, “Getting hit and having my gathering interrupted,” the designer/dev said “Eureka! Let’s make a gathering node that interrupts players all on its own, without any NPCs or rival faction players having to hit them!”

I’ve found the best way to gather from them is to just walk on top of it, because it usually throws dynamite away from itself. And I never Overload them because it feels terrible to miss 80% of the clumps that get thrown off even if the ore yield is comparable. When Overload works, that is. It currently fails, does nothing, and goes on its full CD about half the time I use it.
