It’s not hard to hide behind a building or 100y away. Pets have a very high sprint. Also, with far sight and tracking, it couldn’t be easier to look for gank victims. On PVP realms, you know you’re getting ganked soon when you see the swirls of doom.
To tame Echy you just tame one of the basic lions around the lair; name it the same thing; park it close but out of the path of the other lions. The first part of the quests is the kill the lions…let the horde kill it… then rez and abandon…when the horde comes back it will be to summon Echy… they are already flagged… easy clap

There was a time where you could cast spells while still shadowmelded. Hunters would aimed shot from stealth or priests, like this one, would mind control and the stealth didn’t break until the cast finished.
EotB is a different type of spell but it may have been possible to be in stealth during the cast during that short lived era.

Haha I miss this kind of scouting, and also the Warlock Kilrogg’s Eye! Gush that takes me back. And whilst the party / raid waited whilst they did their scouting XD.
