Hunters can use eyes of the beast to chase down people with a 40% increase ms pet. It lasts for a while as well.
Just wanted to bring this up cause the pets can solo most people, it did half of my lvl23 mages hp in one hit, I kited it for quite a while before it started running way as well. But maybe this is just another reason not to play on a pvp server.

Awe yes, the classic players response. I did polymorph and I did frost nova the pet. I did not die to it, my post was to bring to light the greater issue here other than just “hunter pet try to kill me, big sad” but thinking critically clearly isn’t a strong suit for you.
That pvp is happening on pvp servers. This is a huge issue, we’re gonna have the boys in R&D take a look at this.
Don’t worry I will use small words and spell out the issue for you.
Level cap is 25 most classes not have a lot of abilities, don’t work very well yet. Hunter pet is strong, have a lot of health and move very very fast, faster than you. Hunter nowhere around, no risk for the hunter. Hunter send pet around in a questing area killing everyone there with no risk of dying. Hunter able to kill people with fast pet while being nowhere near people is bad gameplay.

I fought a Druid today while farming two level 30 mobs at once. I was able to kill him and then finish the mobs. He kept reviving and trying to kill me and I won every time. He never once attempted to CC my pet. Why are hunters so strong?
Not everything needs to be fair and balanced
I laughed way too hard.
Then hit it until it is about 50% hp, stun it, and kill it before the hunter can pull it back.
Unless your gear is crap you can kill the pet before it kills you.
If this is still an issue for you after that well…
