Eyebeam's damage seems to be perpetually lower than expected..this is bugs?

The fact is that we can’t do the damage eyebeam shows anyway.
when you choose eyebeam’s choice point, it can get a 100%critical, and increase 20%damage
However, the actual damage it deals is always only 1/2 of the damage it shows in the skill-book
this seems to be a bug that has been around for a long time?

Is that now “fixed” with the 100% buff to EB in the beta?

I don’t know, but even with the +100% “buff”, it still only does 1/2 the damage of the “fixed”
Maybe Blizzard should check how it actually performs and if it doesn’t meet their design expectations?

I hope we get our class turned around soon!
I don’t hate the slightly more complicated, small buff window, play style of momentum/inertia like some DH
But it’s definitely not the old eye beam. In legion it seemed just to DELETE packs of mobs in seconds and I miss it feeling really powerful

Eye beam is so iconic and so many talents support it. Seems like it should be a real threat.

I think I remember something weird about this back when I was testing stuff in S3.

I think the tooltip might just show the dmg without crits.
