Eye of Il'gynoth, Emerald Dream

This is absolutely the WORST Raid/Dungeon Boss. It doesn’t say you have to drag globs to the eye, doesn’t say you have to it so many times in order to be able to off the boss. If you don’t do it JUST right, you have hang their and slowly die to try again! If you don’t do it just right…you are stuck. Dying is the only way out. Only way to reset it! A really not FUN thing to do. Never doing Emerald Dream. Just skip all quest that require it. Yes, I am not happy.

That boss is easy. Kill the eyes next to the door, then door opens, you kill the heart inside. Bobs your uncle.

Another prime example of how the Dungeon Journal is underrated.

Would have taken less time to open it and look at the encounter and then complete encounter than coming here and making this thread

Look, you can’t expect people to read!

Also a prime example of you can only idiot-proof your products so well before the world provides a better idiot.

Drops the best looking priest myhtic helmet tho <3

As long as you don’t damage the Eye when you run out of globs and stalks before it dies you are STUCK!

They keep respawning. You can’t run out. Next time, read the dungeon journal.

There’s a reason they had to put warning labels telling people not to take appliances into the bathtub or warning them not to eat very clearly poisonous substances

I looked on WoWHead. as they give you clues on how to beat the bosses, the Dungeon Adventure Guide does not. You can try to bully but I just look and think what it says about a person that feels the need to bully and mock others.

Someone just posted above, the dungeon journal literally says how to do it.

Also you can think whatever you want about “someone who bullies,” but I can also feel how I want about someone who falsely accused people of being a bully.

To be picky, the raid is the Emerald Nightmare.

I agree that the Eye of Il’gynoth is very annoying, even when you know the mechanics. I avoid the entire raid because of it.

If you’d asked me I would have told you that. I thought everybody knew.

The dungeon journal absolutely tells you how to do the fight. I literally quoted it for you.

… what are you even on about? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Read your comment, it was not meant to be helpful, it was meant to be rude and bullying.

Hey there little guy. Next time you’re having trouble, you come to me, and I’ll tell you to check the Adventure Guide

You are correct, raid bosses don’t generally tell you how to kill them.

However, the dungeon journal is there if you’d bother to read it.

They are not actually correct. Literally the third post in this thread proved that they were wrong about “the dungeon journal doesn’t say anything on how to defeat the boss” in relation to this one.

Even on Mythic it only takes like 2 waves of blobs to kill the barrier. Pretty sure on lower difficulties you can just burn it down after the first wave blows up… Idk, seems like a non-issue to me.

Someone would probably be annoyed if they got thrown off on Spine of Deathwing, too. But it’s basically no one’s fault but their own that they don’t know how to do the fight. Even if the dungeon journal didn’t exist…the internet does.

The boss himself doesn’t say that. If you will proceed to read the 2nd half of my comment:
