Notice the only people that don’t agree with me are people who don’t play hunter and people who don’t play Priest, For some reason people who are unaffected by a problem like to butt in and claim that its not actually a problem. Even though many people who are actually affected by this are posting on here confirming that its an issue. One of my guilds raids has seen more legendary drops than leafs lol.

I guess a question I would ask is how many priests were commonly ran in 40 man MC vs how many are commonly ran in 20 man MC?

The drop rate for leaf and eye are both HIGHER than classic.
1/3 chance for 20 people vs. 1/2 chance for 40 people.

I forgot where all 40 people in the raid are rolling on the eye/leaf my bad. Classic you had a raid full of like 20 warriors so it equals out honestly. My guild had 5 priest in raid during classic which was 4 healing and 1 meme shadow, World first kill had 5 priest in there raid to so same amount just more shadow since its actual viable now and your not only bringing healing priest. but then also add in the 2-3 hunters depending on your group who want leaf which is roughly the same amount of hunters you would have brought back in classic so your math falls apart when variables are introduced. Bottom line is 33% is a lower number than 50% so YES it did get nerfed. All these “WELL BACK IN CLASSIC” guess what its SOD a SEASONAL server with sped up phases. I seen 3 eyes of sulfuros already + bindings. there was no reason to NERF a drop chance while all other drop chances got drastically increased.

The group that you personally chose to play with might have been more favorable towards you getting loot in 2019 than it is in SoD. That’s not a drop rate problem. That’s a you problem.

33% for 20 players gives you higher odds than 50% for 40 players.
Actually 33% of 20 is 6.6 and 50% of 40 is 20 so your math is still wrong. Good try though.
There is a 55.1% chance of getting at least one Eye (or Leaf) across 40 players in SoD.

This is basic probability. You don’t even need to know how to do the math, just type “at least one odds calculator” into Google and you figure it out in 2 seconds.
Actually there was a 100% chance to get 1 eye/leaf in classic because only 1 of the 2 could drop, again your math is wrong lol.
You know what I mean. Either or, not both.
No, there was garunteed chance to get eye/leaf. now you have a 33% chance to get neither which means you have a chance of not seeing either of them for multiple weeks in a row which was not the case in classic. One of my guild groups saw 5 of the rogue item in a row before getting a leaf.
