I guess I should just vendor my Refined Arcanite Champion, since it’s not actually bis and Typhoon is just better, so why even use anything else. Oh wait… I don’t have a Typhoon and there’s no guarantee it drops OR goes to me… I wonder if that’s how loot in this game works?
All weapons can drop from the Molten Core so there is your 2nd source, and high end items can drop from other bosses case in point NOTA got an onslaught girdle from sulfron harbinger.
The players don’t take the devs seriously at all.
It took them 4 attempts and 2 weeks to fix the master mixology quest.
And they added 1 new item to ony after removing all the helms she can drop and she can be killed twice a week. Magmadars claw is the only other item i know that was added and nothing notable dropped off him anyways
So you have full confirmation that 100% on specifically only Heat level 3 that the core boss loot table includes every weapon in MC, and NOT any of the class items anywhere else, AND you know the exact drop rates for those? That’s some impressive information gathering after just 1 week of clears.
Uh huh. Again, you know for a fact every single aspect of the new loot drops and their loot drop percentages already? impressive.
Umm yes molten core can drop all the weapons as Molten variants, are yoi even paying attention to raid content? Also love the comparison of your twice a week boss with a small drop pool and an item only paladins actually want.

I’m well aware of the system, what I am telling YOU is that YOU don’t have the full information to go off of on the loot pools based on a single week of clears yet. That knowing weapons DO drop there is not the same thing as knowing that all weapons drop there or that only the weapons do.
You’re spiraling here. You’re latching onto anything and everything you can as you flail around angrily demanding your pixels in a video game. It’s fine. Rogues can have a class quest item, and it’s shared loot with the others. You will be ok. This is a game, it’s not that serious.
Blizzard has demonstrated that crying loudly and threatening to unsub is the most effective way of eliciting change.
Umm we know that every weapon has a molten variant so yes we do know that every weapon can drop from the molten core as its the only boss that can drop molten variants. Im mearly replying to the arguments people are throwing at me for gotchas so no im not spiraling. The only person who has mad personal attacks in this argument has been you and a few others which are poor excuses for arguments when I’m trying to have a conversation about a change that was made at a detriment. Like how the claw was added to magmadar because his loot pool had nothing notable this to could have been moved to a different boss or buffed it to where 2 class items could drop on Heat 3

Im not taking anything as serious as the people who come in throwing out insults because I said something that they didn’t like. :), I merely asked why should the drop rate be nerfed when all other items got buffed drop rates (verifiable) due to bosses droping more loot or having new sources for the loot added in. Could have had a reasonable conversation on why its ok if you have an argument outside of “stop crying its 33%” but those who have no good arguments always resort to insults

I have actually cleared it on Heat 2, you can check wow logs if you like Elidius-wildgrowth. The website just hasnt updated my charater to a level 60 yet so good try at an argument.
No one actually presented any argument outside of “its still 33% stop crying” or throwing insults. So good try stating that someone gave a reason without specifing the reason so you dont have to back up the argument. I see that you have run out of insults and therefore no longer have any good arguments appreciate your time keeping the thread going

is there a good reason for it to have a nerfed chance to drop? in classic/era it had 50% chance to drop. On seasonal server it has a reduced chance why? People saying its not a big deal are not Hunters or Priest. If you took any other item in MC that was highly sought after and almost cut its drop chance in half would that be ok?
