Blood elves are high elves so your argument has fallen apart from the start.
I really wish all these ERPers making posts crying over high elves would just go play FF where they can fulfill their fantasies of being an anime girl.

no it isn’t. It is literally everyone else screaming this.
Everyone points at the pro high elf community and blames them for everything. Examples are mass flagging, thread spam, and most recently caring about eye color.
Blood Elves cannot have blue eyes. They were either exiled, or refused to join their brothers and sisters.
The reason they have green eyes is because their city is covered in fel crystals. Because of that, the fell still influences them. They have gold because of the sunwell.
They shouldn’t have silver because they don’t get their power from the moon. They shouldn’t have emerald green because they don’t get their power from the Emerald Dream. And although they could have blue, the would have to live away from Silvermoon.
Void Elves, need the same treatment. Because we have both Sin’dorei and Quel’dorei in the Rift and therefore they are Void Elves because they are studying. And their eye color shouldn’t be whatever the hell color it is supposed to be. Their eye color should be either dark void blue or purple.
The elf eye color on all elves is based on what kind of power they are close to. Belf DKs should have blue eyes, as well as Velf Dks, because their power comes from Frost and Death.
Canonically, blue eyed Thalassian elves are known as “High Elves” and tend to find friendship with the Alliance more often than with the Horde to the point of exclusivity.
Blood elves = high elves = void elves.
They’re all the same. They’re all an inferior devolution of a troll.

Canonically Blood Elves are the same High Elves that fought with the alliance previously.
They just changed name from Quel’dorei to Sin’dorei after the scourge invasion to pay homage to those that fell.
High Elf would still techinically be the their proper “race” in separation from Night Elves (Kaldorei) seeing as they exhibit different features.
Some of them did. The Quel’dorei endured. Elisande identifies them as separate entities all the way until Legion, which isn’t a story element that has been since overturned. And those Quel’dorei have been seen almost exclusively in-game as helping the Alliance.
Stop making stuff up. High Elves will always be part of the Alliance to any true Warcraft fan.

Lets put it this way.
Quel’dorei, Kaldorei and Shal’dorei are all different races of elves that exhibit different features due to many years of change by the locations they chose to inhabit and the lifestyles they lived (much like those in cooler climates have lighter skin and warmer have darker skin the real world)
However, Sin’dorei is just like… the New York Chinatown of Quel’dorei.
