Extremely inconsistent ping

I have been having this problem for a few weeks now, but I have run out of ideas on how I can fix this myself. My latency shows itself as being ~55 for home and world, but I have ability/global delays that can sometimes be upwards of .5-1.5 seconds, varying within even the span of five seconds. As an example, on my holy paladin I can cast consecutive Holy Shocks but one will go off instantly, and the other will take a full second after I cast the ability to actually do any healing.

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

I have run WinMTR many times over the past couple weeks to see if I am getting packet loss, but that doesn’t really appear to be an issue, my largest concern is with the “Et-0-0” pings, and if I trace those IP’s, they appear to be in the UK/London area. I am not sure if this is actually the case, as I live in Utah, and there should be no reason for it to route me through EU servers to connect back to the US.

Any help or advice would be great, and thank you in advance!!

Your home equipment, as well as the ISP nodes closest to your home look great. However, once your connection travels through your ISP’s network, you pick up another 45ms+ of lag. This is something they may correct on their own, or you may need to contact them to work on a resolution.

In the meantime, you can try using a VPN to route you outside of those nodes, but picking the VPN and setting it up isn’t supported on the forum.
