If tanks are so easy and immortal, why donât you play one? Every single one of you complaining about this donât tank at all, and are hiding on level 70 alts. Truth is, according to the forums tanking is easy, and thereâs no skill involved in it, so why not be the change you want to see?

A tank canât heal the group.
The bar is so low for performance though. Itâs stuff like anyone should be able to do. Thus tanking is not engaging in that aspect.
Thatâs not quite true. Roll a DK and go Sanâlayn and take vampiric aura. Now you can heal the group.
And play the worst tank? Certainly not a candidate for reroll.
what if you create a priest and get WOW to code it so they can wear plate armor. they can sit there and heal themselves and be immortal.
I have played prot paladin for faster groups in BFA for a bit. (M+) Infinite interrupts is a nice touch too. But gearing an alt burns you out.
Ah, yes, youâve shared these insights quite a few times throughout this thread. Clearly, you have some strong feelings about the trinity system. If itâs really not to your taste, though, I might gently suggest exploring a game that doesnât rely on it, rather than campaigning to dismantle something others actually enjoy (or used to, anyway).
Of all the contributions here, I must say yours has been the most⌠consistent. Itâs fascinating, really, how each post is a new way of saying the same thing without so much as a shred of data or an actual problem to address. Just the same vague wish list on repeat, like itâs going to magically gain substance if repeated enough times. And honestly, I have to ask: what are you hoping to accomplish by recycling the same tired points? Trying to wear us down until we all nod along?

Itâs lowkey funny seeing all the hidden messages due to the person that seems to have a personal vendetta against tanks for some odd reason. Theyâre in all the tank threads telling all the tanks theyâre garbage and should just shut up and be damage sponges. Donât fall for the bait.
The forums ignore feature has been a godsend in just weeding out the folks whoâs messages arenât worth the time.

I prefer in raids where they allow 2 tanks or more

This is another one of those âmostly a forum problemâ subjects imo. Iâm mostly treated well when I tank. Every tank I run with is largely treated well.
Itâs a rarity for a tank to mess something up and actually catch flak over it in my experience. Unless it just keeps happening. I can easily believe that the first negative experience as a tank runs people off and they then claim it is a constant problem.
The issue is that this leads many tanks to never learn from or even acknowledge their mistakes. Being treated with kid gloves until someone finally points out a mistake. So when a mistake is pointed out it is âabuse.â
they all work just fine, especially up to 10s.
warrior and bear are pretty strong, but DK, and DH are not far behind. pally just got reworked. monk is fine for people who know how to play them (that does NOT include me lol).
prot warrior is the most popular.
i went with bear for a variety of reasons this season, but a really important one was all the poisons. bear can dispel themselves.

I have swapped to tank this season and I am having a good time. I get all the invites I want. I sometimes get declined but its rare. Overall I recommend it, you have full control of the pace of the dungeon and people are generally happy with you cause you are taking your time to tank. 8/10

Just came back after a break and wanted to roll a tank:
Some dungeons were ok, then again:
1 DH (no kiddin) runs ahead before i could even react and pulled 5 grps+. I don t want to play with such dds. I left the grp+said nothing:
Not even 1 min. later the DH flamed me per whisper +blocked me. Made a ticket.
I fear that will be not the only +annoying+ tanking-exp.
Be better than such a person people!

I can understand every tank+healer that only going with pals+friends to dungeons and raids and the new delves.
Its your faul @ trolls /evil players that we have a shortage of tanks and healers.
