Many years ago I took a free transfer off a high pop server to a new server. It ended badly for my characters.
It is unfortunate that your guild was swindled by Harold, the Demon Lord. His false promises of greatness live up to nothing more than elitism, and the curse of the queue. He is a great deceiver and takes pleasure in your suffering.
The age of the queue is upon us, but our true Lord and Savior, Omar has been summoned, and has given those who went down the path of darkness a path back to redemption. A path to Earthfury, an escape from Harold, a true Vanilla experieince. Separate yourself from the curse of Harold and his blind followers and come back to the light.

I am glad you were amused. Having a light heart and a wide grin is a blessing. But never forget, Haroldās double-dealing dupery is no laughing matter. He has led many down the path of malfeasance. We must keep them in our prayers.
Remember when the auction house was only in Ironforge? Frame rates were measured in fpm instead of fps. Thatās why Blizzard is offering free transfers: Herod and other big servers are going to be like that in phase 2 otherwise.
I think blizz would offer xfers or merg servers if that ever happened. They seem to be doing everythinf they possibly can to keep things stable. Makes me happy about the future.

A private server did it, Blizzard can too.
Because a private server clearly had a comparable number of players online at the same time as actual Blizzard classic servers do.
Over the last 14 years Iāve played on both types, and while the big realms have advantages with economy and ease of finding people to play with, I still prefer the low pop realms. Less competition, less frustration, and you can still usually find groups. As a bonus, there tends to be better community on low pop realms. Earthfury is brand new and Iāve had no competition for mobs yet. There isnāt much of a community but give it a few days/weeks and it will build. I think it will be a great realm for the right people.

Right? Why did Blizz open up more new servers when we already have 2 that are at low population. Just offer free transfers off Herod to those low pop servers. Same mistakes made again.

Transferred two toons to Earthfury and I regret the move. Place is dead and I think Iāve lost these two toons. Moved to playing toons on other, fuller servers.
Wholeheartedly agree. Things have been a bit breezy in the main cities so far, but Iāve been watching it grow by leaps and bounds for the past 3 days. Iām here for the long haul, and waiting a week or two for a server to reach a healthy, stable population is nothing in the grand scheme. And Iām proud to have gotten in on the ground floor ā by the time itās a big boy server I will have watched it grow into that 
Our guild rolled on Herod initially as well. We ended up moving to a medium pop server because we still want the community and a high amount of people to interact/dungeon/raid with, but we were spending over 6 hours in queue to get in. During the mornings a Medium pop server shows as Low, in the afternoon it shows as Medium, and at night it shows as High. We never have queue times are have finally been able to play together. I wouldnāt roll on a Low pop server. Find one that is Medium to High at peak hours. Itās really not worth waiting in queue that long.
