I was thinking about this today . What do y’all think would happen if we got 1 more talent point? Being able to go 31/21. What do you all think the most overpowered class would be? SL/SL lock in classic? A mage with ice barrier and POM? A warrior with mortal strike and death wish? I just thought it would be a pretty cool discussion to open up. I definitely don’t want it because that would change the game so much but I kind of think it would be pretty cool in a hypothetical world. I wonder what others think.

One of the best things about TBC is that it opened up some cool hybrid talent specs.

We already know exactly what would happen because of Burning Crusade. It could be an option with a Classic+ server.

It happened in Vanilla, watch the Warrior Pat video. You see him mortal striking people and has deathwish up at the same time.

Nah forget adding one more talent point.
What would be really interesting would be to drop the same talent tree requirements. So instead of an ability needing 30 points in X tree, all it would need would be 30 talent points spent in any tree.

This actually happened in vanilla. There was a bug on a patch that gave warriors one extra talent point. And yes, they paired death wish and mortal strike, and they basically became meat grinders.
This can be considered the perfect example of one little change that can have drastic consequences.

I remember the Pat pvp video where there was a bug that gave an extra talent point and he had deathwish. It was pretty cool to see
there was a lot more going on with an sl/sl than just those 2 talents.
