Hi, I’m unsure if this is the right place for this, since I can’t post on the Beta Forums.
So with all the new spells coming in Shadowlands, its really exciting. However, my range of motion for my left hand is limited, so I can really only press 1,2,3,4,5,6,R,T,Y,U. So I end up clicking the rest of the spells/potions/trinkets/healthstones quickly during combat as I have them arranged on the extra action bars.
To avoid any accidents, I try to have them spaced out one button apart. This sort of works at the moment, but I still have lots of spells bunched together. With the influx of Spells during Shadowlands, this will just get worse.
My question was, would it please be possible to add another layer of Action Bars above the set already available? I’d prefer not to download an addon for them, because I’ve had issues before.

Having said that I use an addon called extra bars you can customize the bars in many ways. I have not had any issues with it and have been using it for several years.

One of the things I like about extra bars is you can change the size of the buttons. You can make them bigger or smaller to fit your needs, Also you can have any where from 1 to 12 buttons for each bar. The only possible drawback is you can only do 4 extra bars.
I know you said you’d prefer not to use an addon, but in case you’re willing to try, Dominos is a great one. I’ve been using it since Pandaria, no issues at all. (I’m a button clicker, too, and like to group my spells in clusters with blank spaces between.) It gives you access to 10 different action bars, all of which can be customized and rearranged and organized on screen however you want.
The General forums are fine for asking questions. Some topics can draw attention, and create heated debate, but you are not making a over massive topic to remove or overhaul a game system, simply asking a question about the UI.
With that said though, there are also topics under the guides subforum that may even be better suited,
There are addons that provide different amounts of action bars, and allow you to move them on your screen.
