Hello, I’m hoping someone can help me. My extra action button is permanently ‘summon cleansing totem’. No matter what zone I enter or if I even try to pick up an item to gain a different extra button the cleansing totem overrides it all and is always there. This makes me unable to do things like throw balls in the algethar dungeon. Is there any fix I should do for this? Blizzard ticket response was to reset my UI which I am not going to do.

OK, well, this is kinda like taking a car that won’t start to the mechanic, but then insisting you don’t want your spark plugs changed even though the mechanic recommends that as the first step to getting it started.

You could disable addons one by one, if you run any, to see if shutting off one particular addon resolves your issues. That’s a sideways-method of troubleshooting this, though … and you might go through every addon and not find the culprit.
You may not want to accept this, but a full UI reset is the way to resolve UI issues. You gotta swallow that pill. You can insist you want some other resolution, but a UI reset is (naturally) what fixes corrupt UI issues. If you fix it some other way to try to dodge the troubleshooting, the issue won’t resolve.
Bite the bullet:
This is completely reversible in under 60 seconds if the reset doesn’t solve the problem. Follow the instructions.
If it does solve the problem, you’ll need to rebuild the UI. Add back your addons one by one making sure none of them corrupt the extra action button. When you find the one that does - if it does it again - then request help directly from the addon author.
