Watghing Blizz screw this up is getting sort of funny now.
If nearly all your realms are full, maybe create more?

Blockquote Please do NOT plan to just open up new PvE realms on launch day. PLEASE give us early birds time to transfer our characters to a new EST PvE realm before launch day.
Seriously, they should know a lot of people didnât sub yet. I subbed last night and made a char in Pagle just to add another body there until they add new PVE EST Realms.
This is very disappointing, itâs painfully obvious blizzard does not want to spend the millions upon millions in profit they have made on actually doing this release justiceâŚ
A word of advice, you are going to kill Classic within weeks for many and they will unsub, you will lose money. How do you folks not think these things through. ANYONE with any business sense could see this coming yet you folks did not. No one likes to sit in extreme Queue times, you folks should know this by now and should have more than enough servers to handle this, apparently the basics of business setup and management are not there at blizzard.
They started with three EST PvP realms, and while they didnât open a new one as soon as one of them reached full, they DID open a new one when all three were full.
Both EST Normal realms have been full for at least 3-4 days, yet we donât see them bothering to open a new EST Normal realm. They are warning of severe queues due to high population, but are not giving the Eastern Normal players any options to redistribute the population. There is definitely a double standard happening here.
No both PvE EST realms have not been full for 3 to 4 days. Today is the 3rd day since the first PvE realm went full and that was Mankirk. That server went full on the 19th as per a blue post, that is why in another post I predicted today or tomorrow they will bring another PvE server up. Hopefully they will finally be proactive and not nickel and dime and actually double the numbers of PvE servers in prep for the weekend. Of course it is more likely they will bring one up in the middle of the work day with little advanced notice to the playerbase.
I rolled on Pagle and it has been full since last Friday I think.
remove layer caps for the 1st month ffs⌠more then half the ppl here are gonna be in queues for days
Please open up another est normal realm.
Yes, I really donât care about the name of the server, I would just like a normal (PVE) server to play on without an hour(s) queue. Puerty pwease!
I feel like so many people will be joining the day before/ day of

I second this.

Youâre not wrong. For the PvE EST Realm situation. I was waiting for a new server to open up before I whipped out the card, then I said meh, just a few days left and classic comes out so might as well login and add a little 1 onto Pagle to try and âhelp the cause.â
- Mankrik - Normal
- Pagle - Normal
I love how they legit say âlook the 2 only servers of this type (PvE EST) are screwed but we wont give you an option to go on a lower population one because they are the only ones of that type LOLâ
RIP PvE EST SERVERS
Yeah, my struggle is that I work basically 3rd shift, so EU raid times are ideal for me, but EU latency is not. East gets me the best latency (live in the Midwest), but I may have to try and figure out how to get to the EU realm list, since Pyrewood Village and Mirage Raceway arenât listed on the EU forums as full. Right now, the launcher just takes me to US and Oceanic. Oceanic may be an option for me, since a 4am start time for me would be 7pm in Sydney, but thatâs going to involve me staying up a lot later than I want to. But itâd be much nicer to be on a low ping server on USEast and just find other 3rd shifters to play with.
EST PVE another realm plz, If i have to sit in qâs for more than a hour when you provided me no other option to move im not going to be thrilled.
They know people that played Vanilla are 15 years older now. We have careers, families, and responsibilities. Why release new servers on days when people are most likely working? Let them release on the weekend when people can transfer with their guilds and such. No need to keep griping over things they already know about.
Add another PvE EST realm, itâs needed.
I am very confused as to why a new East Coast PVE server has not been added. Both are full and going to experience severe ques. Where exactly are you suggesting players on those realms switch to? You have failed to provide them an alternative.
Having played WOW since day 1 yes many people will end up leaving Classic PVP servers, why? Lets just say they wont be able to take the heat. Personally I love it! I thrived during classic!
The realms that are listed as âFullâ are where we expect to see extended queues. If youâre concerned about long queue times affecting your play experience, you may want to consider creating characters on a lower population realm before the game releases on August 26 at 3:00 p.m. PDT.
I really hope you guys donât make the same mistake every recent mmo launch has made in opening up tons of servers.
Seems like you are basing ârealm popâ exclusively on name reservations. As if folks didnât go make at least 3 toons per account and sometimes per server in order to reserve their names.
No one knows how populations will spread out (as always happens). I may start on server A today and decide server B is for me. Meanwhile, I will reserve my name on A and B just in case, even if I end up not playing classic at all.
Hope you guys donât end up spreading the population super thin and then watch it become a ghost town after the first month.
This has literally happened to every single MMO that has launched in the last 10-12 years and has been the nail in the coffin for most. Not usually the only issue - but a major catalyst to the snowball effect of folks leaving.
