This is a new low for blizz. how do you mess up something thats been going strong for 20 plus years. I see some of you like to kiss the ring . well not me . i paid for this game. Paid for the time to be able to play this game. maintenance…fine. But to post that it will be a 8 hour maintenance is wild to start and on top to not say a word in todays day and age. where a simple post on any platform at 3pm that maintenance would be extended is the very least a multi–million dollar company can do . But to wait till its been 2.5 hours and the to drop this …/shrug of a message on us is unreal. TWENTY YEARS to build and one day brake it… to hell with glu’dan …BLIZZARD CHEATED…me out of my game time…rant over

At this point we should all be thankful Blizzard doesn’t have any responsibility towards crucial services out in the real world. I wonder if its time for the Microsoft overlords to burnt it down and salt the earth .

Yeah but you will need to endure a few unsavory interactions from customer support. Then they would just tell you know. So maybe 2-3 request for customer support. First 1-2 tickets to get past the copy-paste responses. Then the 3rd one will just tell you flat out “no”
What about characters that were lost because after a DC they logged back in on a different layer and rather than have the party there to help them, they are suddenly alone in a dungeon or high mob area. If a character DCs it should repopulate on the same layer it was on originally. characters lost because of your mistakes need to be replaced, no questions asked.

Get the game up god damn there are more issues/bugs/exploits/server downtime/bullsheet deaths/general fuggen around than private servers run on a applemac 2000 run outta some nobodies basement. Maybe you should hire more than 1 overworked college intern to work on HC classic.

Could you provide a changelog?
Imagine being a multi-billion dollar company and taking 3 hours + (8 hours planned downtime) to communicate to your paying player base that you screwed up a 20 year old game and don’t know how long its going to take to fix it.
