Y’all agreed to live services from Blizzard via the user agreement and ToS when you subbed to play WoW and you “demand” compensation for them doing what they need to do to resolve in-game issues to include extended maintenance? Wild.
What’s next? Suing Blizzard for unscheduled maintenance extensions because you can’t play on your day off from work? Good luck with your argument.
It was accurately updating live last week for me. Kind of strange it’s saying the realms are up right now

Miserable people love to watch other people be upset apparently. Misery loves company.

I’ve been saying this all along. They should just say 8 hours, and then every time its done early they’ll be heralded as hero’s.

Wut? Are you saying we wouldn’t log in now even if we could? Because I work from home and most certainly would.

yeah i seem to recall they use to do that alot, then people were mad because they scheduled for it and missed 2 hours of playtime while their competitors got ahead
I’m even getting mad about this. Every week now it’s a long wait. They were doing so good.

Definitely the boot lickers. They’re the ones who enable this behavior.
Big “Leave alone the multi-billion dollar company!” energy

Better be careful. Blizzard bootlickers are gonna come in here and tell you to go outside while they defend the multi million dollar game company that can’t ever hit their maintenance deadline. It’s your fault and you will get over it!!!

heres a suggestion How about Blizzard run maintenance every Tuesday from 3am Pacific to 9am pacific that gives them 6 hours to fine tune everything and it doesnt interfere with the masses too much

That is because it wasn’t like that. They released a bug infested broken game. I heard the term live beta.

That kind of worked in the past, when those long maintenance hours for this game was the norm. Now, after years of having maintenance periods of an hour or less, people don’t expect that the progress from consistent 8 hour periods to 1 hour periods to regress
Someone get them a dictionary so they can look up the word “extended”

Testing in production is the most realistic kind of testing!

Live Beta for US only. EU didn’t have a live beta, hence their 18 hour US head start in the world first was reduced down to a 2 hour US head start.
I find it odd that they continue to be optimistic with their 2 hour projected downtime. They should just say it isn’t going to be up until late afternoon and if they get down early we’re all pleasantly surprised.

It would be a huge failure in my book. Wow maintenance always was one hour.
TWW is not more complicated than any Other expansions, and for some timezones, 4 hours maintenance every week is a full evening and thus the game is only playable 6 days out of 7.
People need to understand the magnitude of the incompetence of the team currently in place compared to all the others that preceeded them

Whoever said this in a prior thread about all this extended maintenance got it right:
Blizz should just make every Tuesday’s maintenance 5 hours long, and then we can be happily surprised when it ends early.
