I scrapped 29 Shimmerscale Armguards and got 0 Expulsom, then 18 Coarse Leather Armguards and got 1 Expulsom. Wow-professions is out of date saying that rate is about 1 in 6 I take it, but is rate now like 1 in 40?

The rate hasn’t changed, in my experience, but if it has, it’s probably because you can get more than enough of it from WQs.

Yah, I like that now WQs offer some. But even the reduced rate previously seemed more like 1 in 13 or so. Could be a bad run of dice, but ninja nerfs are common enough in this game that I wanted to see what others experiences are. If anyone does a big scrap of crafted items and they’d share their numbers that’d be useful.
I have noticed a few rng-related farm things a little goofy over the last week. Havent paid attention to expolsum but my Stringy Loins farm spot seems to have noticably decreased the amount I can get from my normal pulls. Not sure if it’s related or just the r in rng.
OK, scrapped another 44 crafted bracers and this time got 7 Expulsom, so just rng.
