Are there any traits aside from this that are competitive?

I just don’t like the feel of the glyph. It reminds me too much of demonic empowerment and turning out AoE into a maintenance spell.

I don’t use it; I use sacrifice souls and azurite traits not linked to implosion and it worked for m+12. Never pushed for higher keys but I assume that it would work for several higher levels.

I feel the same way. I loved implosion as a spell but when I went Explosive Potential in dazaralor I quickly realized it ruined everything I liked about demo.

Yes, I also felt reminded of Demonic Empowerment, the absolute worst part of Legion demo. I also was playing demo with the intention of being a master summoner, commanding a literal army of demons, and that includes the imps. Explosive Potential took that away from me.

Okay I’ll try one of the others out.

I won’t be pushing high end. 10s at most with maybe normal to heroic nya.

3 baleful is completely viable.

Not for mythic +, you literally can’t ride a triple Tyrant build outside of raiding. If you want to do competitive cleave in mythics our only option right now is the explosive potential builds.

You most definitely can. I did. Granted I only had like a 1300 IO last season or something, it was still completely viable to run triple baleful without any explosive potential.

Implosion, felstorm, and demonic strength were plenty for cleaves. And my 250-300k tyrant bolts were a solid sustain for ST on bosses

Friend, I only play 3 baleful in m+. I’ve never done anything else. It is absolutely viable - at least up to 19 or so which is what I’ve done. The damage isn’t even bad.

EP might be “optimal” to push the very highest keys - but that doesn’t mean baleful is bad or not viable for most key levels people will be running.

I found some solid Baleful traited pieces and it’s fun.

Talented out properly for it and watching my commander come in and just turd on people is awesome.

I think I’ll be fine for the content I do and it hasn’t held me back in raising my cloak to level 7 solo.

I run 2xEP and 2xBI - the other day I got SUPER lucky with my Visions procs and was able to Demonic Consumption a 27 imp tyrant with max haste…he was hitting for 167k/hit (non-crit) every 0.6seconds and those 320k crits were just beautiful. haha
