So you’re saying that your posts are Unholy Spec?

Seeing how that’s my preferred off-spec on this toon, pretty much :joy: :sunglasses: :woman_shrugging:

Ion and Danuser responded to the Exploring Kalimdor criticisms, in the T&E Twitter interview, by admitting that WoW races are based on real-life races and promising to do better. They said they would speak with Inuit leaders to make sure Tuskarr are portrayed respectfully.

got a link?

I believe it was in the Dragonflight launch video, wasn’t it?

Hmm, I said that purely from memory. The interview is completely unable to be retrived from Twitter Spaces. It wasn’t posted on WoWhead’s liveblog of the event either. Shame. I listened to that interview live.

I don’t think Inuit will be happy as being portrayed as an anthropomorphic Walrus.

But if they find a way to incorporate Qallupilluit in Tuskaar mythology, that would be cool.

The biggest problem with that stupid book wasn’t the cringy race thing like Lorthemar teaching Zekhan how to read.

It was their Loremaster failing to tell a story on every level. It doesn’t bode well for what is to come. It does not bode well at all. We were in cata timeline almost 10 years and zekhan is asking himself gee i wonder why the NEs are so sad and hope that one day they can be happy… teehee

I hate blizzard, but I will acknowledge they do at least have Zekhan admit later on the Night Elves are right to be mad and the Horde’s not really entitled to forgiveness. But it is kinda dumb he still pushes the idea of ‘BUT NOBODY WANTS THIS FIGHT’ when like… The Horde would just leave their lands if they didn’t want to antagonize them. But they don’t.

The inconsistency, I don’t think theres a real defense for. If Zekhan doesn’t know this really major parts of the history of Azeroth, then he’s really not cut out to be the scout gathering info and doing the writing itself.

The Furries in their community rise up LMAO

Maybe Blizzard’s using Disney’s tactic to deflect criticism; they know they’re about to release a bad product, so they’re re-framing issues as race-based to deflect criticism by framing the critics/criticism as “racist”. Also, how “convenient” that comments aren’t allowed for Wowhead news articles.

Makes the whole “separate, but equal” leadership situation in the Alliance a bit more of an oof.

Now they’re saying Goblins have a gold-related disease?

Why does Blizzard hate Horde races so much??

EA Eastern Kingdoms was all about alliance they even got to walk free around Silvermoon for no reason. Once again the Horde council betrayed their own faction. So it was only fair that the Kalimdor book was narrated by Horde characters but was still stupid becauser it confirmed that all mission table things were an alliance victory on every level.

What do you mean by that? is the book rereleased?

I don’t remember the source but a recent quest ingame supposedly mentions such

This book was for horde side, is it so much to ask that horde is hero of its own story. There are plenty of reasons they could mention where night elf’s or alliance were in the bad.

Like attacking the warchief, that should of been where the war started. Also night elf’s moving its army when horde was trying to mine a natural resources that didn’t belong to anyone. Or in cats night elf banning trade leading horde to starve. Again pls fly of reason but blizzard wants us to feel bad when we touch horde related content, even when the content is for horde players.
