Exploring isle of dorn now gives experience before 11.1 it didn’t.
Um bro, you know there are speedrunners that have been using exploration EXP in isle of dorn since WarWithin release?
especially if you want to quickly level a earthen.
FYI : the first zone never gave experience for discovering a spot of the map. Starting in 11.1 it starts offering experiences for exploring an undiscovered spot of the map.
Well that’s incorrect. I leveled two weeks ago the last little percentage I needed by zone discovery XP on Isle of Dorn.

Exploring has always gave experience. There’s been multiple times where I’ve gotten that last bit of experience forna level by doing so, this include The Isle of Dorn.

Then you had a bug happening
I’ve gotten XP for discovering “highlighting” the map for the last 20 years. It’s always been in the game.

All my characters have got XP from exploring Isle of Dorn.
My bet is that as some point you’d pressed the ‘ Warband Map to Everywhere All At Once’ and killed your exploration experience. Then took it as gospel maps were broken when you got no exploration experience.

It wasn’t a bug okay the first zone from launch it didn’t give XP when uncovering an area until this patch 11.1. Not unless they made an undocumented change a patch before the new patch because I remember going through the first zone it never gave XP when uncovering an area just like Ardenweald in shadowlands and Thaldrassus in Dragon isles.
I have never did use those mechanics when playing this game and to be clear I’ve never used anything similar when playing the game. I have used them once and that’s it to see what it does when first introduced. But after that initial use I didn’t use it afterwards.
