I had a friend back in vanilla who missed out on Grand Marshall by a gnat’s wing because they changed the system. It’s just tough luck.

What’s ridiculous is thinking that a end of season warning is what holds the patch date back, and then blaming or being petty towards players who participate in that content for wanting to know the deadline for reaching their goals.
‘Warning’ announcements do not hold the date back and there’s no reason to have this bizarre contempt towards end of season notices.
How… do you detail all of this. And not give us an official date?! What brainchild suggested this as a news update and also thought that not naming an actual release date… no nope. im done. I hate you.

Let’s say they give a date. And a sudden game breaking bug shows up and they can’t release on that date, would you excuse them or would you complain ?
That’s why you don’t get a date until the patch is “gold master”.

No one’s making fun of people cause we don’t have a date. We’re making fun of procrastinators for procrastinating. Which waiting till now to accomplish goals is doing. No one has anyone to blame but themselves if they get cut off. I missed out on MoP CM phoenixes way back in the day and I’m always jealous when I see one flying by, but I knew they were going away and I didn’t get it done in time. RIP. Least I got all the Mage Tower skins I wanted.

OKay, and this has what to do with a end of season warning? Blizzard is not a 10 year old with a lemonade stand. They have project managers and processes for getting these patches to us in a professional manner. They know when they are a couple weeks out before a patch because anything they do is going to go through a QA stage. The end of season warning is just a courtesy that literally does not affect anyone negatively. Afterall, not all players start playing at the same time or decide to pursue certain goals at the same time.
I’m short just over 400k. So I’m fairly close.
So what i’m seeing is that players that are not new who have not played BFA (or currently do not have BFA) are going to be FORCED into the new player experience with the new players?
Oof, hope you get it. I’d say you at least got a week to clean up but if it were me and I didn’t have a solid date by then I’d suck it up and Token the last bit. Which I’m pretty sure is the whole reason a 5 million McRib exists in this game.

and considering they runied the pre-patch by crappnig half and the zombies cuz ppl complained they prob changed their mind due to complaining pvpers that love to wait last second
Thanks. I’ll have it tonight. I’ve a friend who will loan me the gold, but I was hoping to not have to use his gold and just farm my own. But he’ll be paid back fast as I’ve got most of it on my own over the last few weeks.
8.3.7 was the backend part thats why no new content in 8.3.7 and 8.3.7 was down for a very long time that day
