So what exactly is the point in reminding us about this stuff if you’re not going to give us a prepatch date? Pointless. Majority of us want out of BFA already.

Alright Blizzard, come on. This is getting a bit ridiculous. If we’re still expecting a two week alert (for those still trying to get whatever they’re missing from BfA), then the pre-patch is looking to be ridiculously short. And I get there isn’t much to do in it, but anything is better than toiling away with the fetid husk of an expansion that BfA was left in.
Please just give us a date already.

Seeing how it was said that these are the last days of the expansion I would assume that means next week is the release but I hope and pray it’s tomorrow.

Best guess: Prepatch date given tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest, and it’s two weeks from this week. Shortest prepatch to date, but there’s no rule it has to be four weeks.
They’re doing this article to remind people they only have a bit left to get mounts/titles, so no way it drops this or next week.

One the one hand I’m really ready to be done with BfA.
On the other I still want to do Mad World but I have no more vessels this week so I would need another Stormwind before the prepatch. I also don’t want to go back to a world without flying. Not looking forward to that part at all.

Would that mean two weeks from now, if it follows the pattern of the past? Which still makes the Pre-Patch ridiculously short unless they’re giving us less time than usual. That still puts a two week alert at 06OCT2020 being when the patch comes out, which gives is about 3 weeks in total.
My statement still stands unless they’re actually going to release it sooner than two weeks from now.
The last 2 had release dates 5 days prior.

Who knows what it means. If it’s like Warlords (that got announced on a monday too), it’s the 6th. If they are being Blizzard, it’s the 29th.

One can only hope at this rate. I want to play, but I want to level with the new system (i.e. I have a lot of characters ready to move on from 60 but I cannot stomach Outland or Northrend anymore as I find both of these leveling zones to be truly awful). Even if the pre-patch event is more or less worthless as far as rewards go, I still would prefer anything new to the mess of BfA.
