Exploitive Gains

Blizzard guys, You have to revert any suspension action on these accounts. Tailoring chrono/ azure bolts cooldown were unclear and after I have realised that there is an issue I immediately reported it through the ticket as well as stating that I unintentionally did it without realising that I was doing something wrong.
How are you suppose to know how many charges you suppose to gain every period of time? I came back to WoW after a long break being exited about new professions and thinking that I always wanted to get a “LongBoy” and there was an opportunity to earn some good gold at the start of the expansion. I watched a couple of guides on YouTube on how to spec, I didn’t even read all the cooldown stuff in the tailoring talent tree. I was just making what was making gold, that’s all I was focused on, man, what a shame, got 30 days suspension…
Tonight I was in the middle of the raid, people relied on me to be there and then I got my suspension wasting everybody’s time.
Game development team should take responsibility for not fixing the bug for whole 2 weeks not the players. The whole cooldown thing was so unclear! Have you even seen it? blizzard?

Cool story bro. You exploited you get punished simple as that.

I does seem to be BS when all the people that exploited to high gear levels early on got no punishment at all.

They banned people for the accord weekly exploit for gear and the ilevel 400 gear exploit.

Did you see what it is like? I’m sorry I can understand the side of you feeling good for getting a “bad guy” caught, but that’s not the case. Interface is super unclear and I didn’t figure it out until much later, after when I stopped the activity and only did my “daily cd” for what it’s worth, because there is absolutely no info on how many you can craft per period of time or anything at all + the " bug" persisted for 2 whole weeks, it totally seemed legitimate and as something a new player just doesn’t understand.
Like am I doing something wrong or do I just not understand something? get it?

Sometimes you get it, sometimes you get got.
That’s just the roll of the bones, friend.

imagine researching how to make gold with professions and finding the thing they reccomend for best value and then repeatedly doing it thinking that was working as intended. “wow it let me make this item for hundreds/thousands of gold with no cd. I’ll make ALL OF THEM!”

sense is rarer than invincible these days. This “new generation” is going to kill itself. Not by nuclear war, but by trying to eat bricks, or going to bed in a cement mixer or something along those lines

at least you got to keep all the gold you made

you knew it was wrong, yet kept doing it. and now that you got punished, you want sympathy? they should have perma banned you.

I think I might have explained myself incorrectly. I did not know I was doing anything wrong. It was my first experience in professions. I was not familiar with things that have been present in the game before or any part of this side of the game. The moment I realised what is going on I immediately stopped but I was not aware of it being a problem beforehand.

I only wish they had been this harsh or more so on the prior exploiters this xpac.

This stuff makes Blizzard look bad no wonder subs keep dropping.

This also makes Blizzard look bad letting the streamers get away with all kinds of early exploiting.

Yup, this seemed almost heavy handed considering their limp wrist on the prior exploits that, tbh, seemed worse.

one thing i learned is that never trust any story posted by anyone who’s currently banned or suspended. it’s never the truth.

Why weren’t they this hard on all the streamer rare exploiters?

No, they don’t.

The people who got banned were abusing the bug, and when you exploit there are consequences. Next time the moment you see something that looks odd don’t keep doing it because ‘it gives gold’ report it and stop.

You only have yourself to blame. Consider this a learning experience to not exploit bugs in the future.

Post on any of your main characters, and we can talk then. I do not believe anyone who has played this game for any extended period of time had no idea about extremely expensive mats on a daily CD, even enough to ask around, or do a little research into why these things are spammable crafting, but are making you thousands of gold

Come clean on how often you did it and how much gold you made.

Then we can consider any sympathy.

Or did you realise you were going to get caught, gave the gold to friends to keep for your, and own up hoping for a lesser penalty ?
