The darkfuse rep farm is “nerfed” by blizzard so anyone who didn’t have the time to grind it out last week with the hyperspawns… tough luck.
Obviously farming a rep for cosmetic items quickly was a game breaking bug so blizz dropped everything to fix that immediately! I would like to thank the team for having the right priorities.

They literally could not pay me to grind Darkfuse Paragon.
The fact they tied a paragon mount to the cartels alone was ridiculous since they literally promised they wouldn’t do that again.
But then they did it for a rep you HAVE to grind painstakingly? That’s just messed up. On top of that, when people find a way to make the grind less painful, they nerf it.

Hey, at least they’ve fixed the loot bug. It really stood out during an event where everyone is looting frequently so I guess they couldn’t ignore it any longer.
… they have fixed it, right?

I remember seeing it being brought up in a video and I was like oh that’ll get fixed.
Every time they implement a mob grind for rep they make the same boneheaded mistake and it’s insane that they have never ever played their own game long enough to figure out the problem:
mob density always sucks rocks.
If players could pull a massive quantity of mobs, enough to actually be dangerous to a group, then devs wouldn’t have to keep manually hotfixing hyperspawns.
Meanwhile every single “unlock additional appearances” item from Dragonflight is broken.
Achievement rewards that are still being offered, grinds that are still in the game, and the rewards don’t work. Silence from Blizzard, no information at all, not even an “oh yeah we see that.”
Just out of curiosity…was this a new farm that was only possible for a short time? Or has it been a thing since 11.1 released?
And the sad thing is a simple acknowledgment would earn a lot of much needed good will.
My favourite recent example is when Gift of the Titans disappeared from the hourglass. Lots of people complained and came up with theories as to why, if it was in purpose or a bug, etc.
All they had to do was have an intern post “yeah, it doesn’t show up until week 5, it’s intentional” and they’d have defused a good half of the drama there.
If the devs give us no explanation all that does is leave room for us to come up with our own.
To be fair, the drop rate on the mounts from the paragon boxes is pretty high. That being said, it’s still a terrible system.
Also, people weren’t actually using this hyperspawn to farm darkfuse rep insomuch as they were using it to farm mechanicha that can drop from the paragon chests for the vendor mounts/pets since the drop rate on the mechanica in open world is far worse than any of the Undermine rep farms.
Burning hard earned good will with easily avoidable bad decisions blizz specialty

All while the misbehaving decal next to the org portal in Silvermoon remains unfixed.
Clearly it’s working as intended, getting ready to remove AoE auto loot next patch and are just priming us to be ready.
We need to get a Garbage Man title for finishing the Darkfuse grind.
Wouldn’t surprise me after they brought back hard AoE target caps “to be more like classic.” They love bringing back the worst things.
