Explosive Trap doing more damage AoE than Pyroblast, Soulfire and Lava Burst do ST and somehow Hunters got the audacity to try defending it.

yep. I’ve seen 4k+ crit screen shots but that might be pve only, the pvp crits are still brutal though

yessss nerf hunters into the floor because we are too nooby to know how to kill them. and the max it crits is around 1.6k stop the cap.

I think a lot of you that complain about Hunter on the forums fail to understand is that Hunters are complete glass cannons.
They aren’t going to nerf our damage when it’s the only thing we are good at. They’ve already gimped our CC and we have no interrupt, useful mobility, defensive CD or self-heal.
The main draw for playing a Hunter in the early phases was our pets and we don’t even use those anymore. Historically in WoW, while gear stats are weak, pets and traps tend to be the most effective way to play Hunter.
hunter is by far the easiest class to kill in the game right now as long and you’re not dumb enough to engage them at 40 meters.
and the class has literally only recieved nerf after nerf this phase. first scatter shot not working with lock and load even though it already dr’s with freezing trap, and now frost trap not being on trap launcher. like these noobs don’t understand that hunter has 0 real defensive cooldowns like literally every other class has except for deterrence which you can very easily be killed through. the traps that they complain about can be pad silenced. and literally every class has a way to deal with concussive shot slow.
hunters are just the noob killer. noobs want to just run up from 40m and steamroll them with only damage keys and get destroyed doing so and thus complain on the forums.
meanwhile warlock drain life lets them literally solo face tank drek and van with 0 healers so if you cannot get out of range of them then that in combo with soul link makes them almost immortal. shamans can pretty much 2 shot you with chain lightning and lava burst while having 10x the utility hunters will ever have. paladins have freedom bop bubble steed etc and if they get in your range will nearly global you. rogues will kill you from stealth in a stunlock no problem right now if you don’t have trinket while having both vanish and improved sprint and with frost/ice reflector become very difficult to fight against (i know i have one). priests have pad silence and can kill you with dot damage through eating. odds are if you don’t have a potion at hand or can dispell you die to their dots when they place them on you. warriors yet again still need love but with rank 14 gear will be impossible to kill. and mages also need buffs.
yet yep nerf hunters because when our nooby selves try to run at them from 40m and use no defensive/utility keys we die and that should not be allowed.
Players just come to the forums to complain about whatever class killed them the most recent. Hunters are no more Oppressive than any other SoD class, the difference is we don’t have the toolkit like we do in WoTLK or Cata. We do a lot of damage, that’s about it.
I’ve been saying this since they announced SoD, balancing PvP and PvE together will be a nightmare and things nerfed for PvP purposes will unfairly affect PvE players… like the heavy-handed Trap Launcher change.
If we’re going to go down the route where they just apply general nerfs to core class abilities, players will eventually just stop logging in.

Hunters are just noobs that want to 100-0 someone in 3 globals.
nah the class actually takes some degree of skill against good players.
it has no real heavy defensive cd like literally every other class except for warlocks which have improved drain life anyways. most other classes have gap closers. hunters have 0 movement tech except for cheetah which dazes you if you get hit which makes it in most circumstances its only effective past 30m. all of your traps can be pad silenced. if you get deadzoned and your short cd ccs are on cooldown or silenced in a lot of situations you’re pretty much dead.
there’s actually a decent amount of nuance to it relative to other sod classes. theres a way for pretty much every class to counter it. so yea id say its the noob killer.
